For the second consecutive time at
CASACOR São Paulo ,
Renan Altera , from the Altera Arquitetura office, presents "Ecos do Passado", a 71 m² multifunctional loft that combines
historical architecture and modernity , promoting reflections on sustainability and tradition. The theme "
From the Present, the Now " guided the creation of "Echoes of the Past", reflecting on
cultural heritage and its influence on the present and future. The space integrates symbolic elements with contemporary design through a timeline that covers different historical periods arranged in each room.
The
decor blends the new and the old, incorporating objects made from different materials and styles, maintaining a cohesive palette that completes the concept of
union between opposites ; with elegance and sophistication being further enhanced by lighting in warm tones.
When choosing the furniture, we opted for
timeless and versatile pieces that can adapt harmoniously, ensuring that visitors have a relevant and lasting experience. Next to the entrance, the inclusion of the iconic chaise lounge by Oscar Niemeyer and Anna Maria Niemeyer adds sophistication and symbolizes the connection with
Brazilian architecture .
The
loft is divided into a living and TV room, kitchen, fireplace and wine lounge, bedroom and spa bathroom, all integrated in a
fluid way. The architectural journey begins in prehistoric times, with cave textures, passing through antiquity with the idea of "Our home is our temple", and continuing through periods such as the Roman, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical, each represented by characteristic elements.
In the
lounge , a reddish organic sofa designed by Renan Altera contrasts with the lighter carpet. The dark wooden
skylight simulates the entry of natural light, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Verde Uva's
landscaping celebrates the relationship between past, present and future through nature. Aromatic and herbal plants help with
physical and mental well-being . Surrounding the garden is the
spa bathroom , providing a relaxing and immersive experience.
Sustainability is a priority at the space, with suppliers using certified and recycled materials, promoting a circular economy and conscious consumption. Renan Altera says: “We wanted to create a space that reflects our cultural heritage and highlights the importance of a
sustainable future .”
