The 4th edition of MADE (Market, Art and Design) will take place between August 9th and 14th at the CASA COR Arte & Design hub, at the Jockey Club. Several national and international designers will launch and present their new products to the market.
Among them, designer and architect Murilo Weitz brings his new collection, TRANSI.NOX , to the event. The name is composed of the combination of two words: TRANS - an element that means beyond, and INOX - reduction of stainless. With this, The professional creates a line with six objects that mix the raw material of stainless steel edges with polyester ropes in black and wine colors, surgical elastic and LED lamp hose covered with white rope.
Among the pieces that make up the collection are vases, a bench, a lamp, a coat rack and a coffee table.
"The amount of colors and geometric shapes of the rugs in my latest collection inspired me to create TRANSI.NOX . I visualized the rugs being pulled up and forming a kind of mountain, which is nothing more than the shape of a trapezoid. . I then explored this format and applied it to the work on the stainless steel edges with the outline of the strings", explains Murilo.
