The most important global design event,
Milan Design Week , was attended by professionals (already confirmed!) from
CASACOR Santa Catarina, Balneário Camboriú and
Florianópolis . Among the latest productions and launches from the global design industry, the so-called design capital led everyone to reflect on the contemporary moment and its challenges. More than that, our professionals separated the latest trends they saw there and that will also be at CASACOR in 2023. Check it out!
The end of neutral?
Inspiration from every corner of the city: this is how architect
Andressa Venturini , who will be making her debut at
CASACOR Florianópolis in 2023, describes the event. "At the fair, I was able to see the market's progress, the strong movement to make everyone's eyes shine." She also highlights what caught her eye in this edition:
the mix of colors! "Colors, lots of colors! Bright colors, pastels, earthy tones, a profusion of colors warning of what's to come. Keep that little itch in your mind, will neutrals be left behind? In addition to the colors,
there are many different textures , which brought, above all, comfort."
Main facilities
Among the typologies to accommodate the movements of life, interior designer
Fernando Dal Bosco highlights the installation by
Moroso . Passionate about the creations of
Patricia Urquiola , the professional from the Balneário Camboriú cast highlights
Ruff, an armchair with wide armrests that rest on the sides of the seat and wrap tightly around the body. The result is harmony between curved and straight lines: a simple geometry in architectural dialogue with the surrounding space. Also from BC, architect
Ágata Cipriani – who is participating in the CASACOR edition for the first time – highlights the impact of the
Rossana Orlandi Gallery , which is located in a former drawer factory, in Via Matteo Bandello 14. One of the greatest influencers in the world of design, Rossana Orlandi presented another edition of
RoCOLLECTIBLE , a project dedicated to collectible design with an eclectic selection of emerging creatives.
Gabriela Herde , who is making her third appearance at the event in Balneário Camboriú, visited
B&B Italia , in the Durini region, where she was enchanted by the outdoor furniture presented by the brand. There, she also loved the creations by
Cassina and the lamps that emerged from the production of
Fendi Casa , at
Euroluce . There, everything becomes inspiration and even pride, like the presence of Brazilian creatives, among them
By Kamy with its rugs displayed at the
Brazilian Furniture stand, an initiative by Abimóveis and ApexBrasil .
The Uragano dining table, on display at the
Natuzzi store in Milan, has won the hearts of architect
Indiara Daros Barbieri . "The Uragano dining table pays homage to the beauty and cultural richness of the Puglia region. The large oval-shaped glass slab is supported by a majestic olive wood base, which seems to grow in space like the trunk of a centuries-old tree that starts from the ground with its strong roots and grows beneath the surface in search of the sun and breeze that give Puglia its character. The asymmetrical effect makes the piece behave like a sculpture in motion," she says.
And finally,
Gabriel Bordin mentions in particular the way
Gubi appropriated a public club in Milan to create its own aesthetic experience. "For me, this was one of the highlights of the fair. In the chosen location, an old club that had already deteriorated due to the years of construction, an interesting scenography emerged to showcase its furniture in a meeting setting. The spaces were divided by tents, a well-resolved aesthetic. In addition to the Scandinavian design marked by the use of wood and natural fibers, the design is timeless and soulful," comments the architect from Santa Catarina.
The inspirations seen and felt in the body will be channeled into the production of the spaces that will soon open to the public, first in
Balneário Camboriú , from June 8 to July 23, at The Spot One, attached to Balneário Shopping.
Florianópolis comes next, from September 16 to October 29, 2023, at the legendary Maria do Mar hotel, which will undergo a transformation in its structure by the hands of Dimas Construções after the event.
