Around 60 participating professionals, 8 thousand square meters of built area, 46 days of event, an estimated audience of 33 thousand visitors and 46 environments inspired by thePlaneta Casa theme, are among the novelties presented at the first operational meeting of the 28th edition of the CASACOR Brasília , held on June 28th, at the Itaú Cinema Space at CasaPark.
Also new in this edition is the creation of a waste disposal program. Under the management of the company Novo Rio Ambiental, the organization's objective is to promote behavioral and cultural changes, waste segregation and disposal, circular economy and environmentally appropriate collection and disposal towards the zero waste journey.
During the meeting that followed a brunch of good times for the guests, the gastronomic spaces of the 2019 edition were revealed, which will take place again in Headline House, located node Graphic Industries Sector (SIG) . Built in 1978, the 5,000 m² building It is organized into three wings around a central courtyard, forming a "U" shape, project by architect Oscar Niemeyer. The restaurant will be run by award-winning chef Ian Baiocchi from Goiás and the Mosaico gastrobar by chef Paulo Tarso, who designed the main restaurant for the 2017 show. Café Backerei, a hit last year, returns for this edition. The Buffet Officially, for the fourth consecutive year, it is Rio 40 degrees. Another new feature is the A Aloha toy library.
During the operational meeting, the winning project of the 7th edition of the São Geraldo Young Professional Award-CASACOR Brasília was also announced. The Casulo studio, led by architects Camila Abrahão and Anna Albano, was the big winner of the competition that received 75 projects and will design the public bathroom of this year's show.
CASACOR Brasília 2019 will bring together renowned professionals and young talents such as the offices Studio Gontijo Arquitetura, Choque Design, Alf Arquitetura, Ney Lima, Albuquerque and Peres by Hélio Albuquerque and Sonia Peres, Estudio Orla, Miguel Gustavo, Walléria Teixeira, Studio Arch+, Ângela Cambraia , Elder Galvão, Studio Vi+La, Mara Rubia and Leo Romano, who lent their talents to last year's show, participate in this 28th edition, which marks the return of Larissa Dias, Yeda Garcia, Elaine Verçosa, Debora Pinheiro, Studio Pippa, Helaine Caloete, Silvana Albuquerque, Karla Amaral, Angela Castilho, Marina Pimentel,1:1 Architecture:design by Eduardo Sáinz and Lilian Glayna, Juliane Moi, Roberto Lecomte, Renata Ciccarini and Vilmara Januzzi, Natalie Tramontini with Thalita Gonçalves, and the duo Alex Claver and Wilker Medeiros. Studio Ark by Bruno Pessoa, Guilherme Bussamra and Elisa Fraga from Guel Arquitetos, Thales Zago, Studio VRM, Quartetto Interiores and Rodrigo Xavier make their debuts at the exhibition
