CASACOR Bahia 2026 arrives at its 32nd edition, returning to a setting that is already part of the show's recent memory: Casa Nossa Senhora das Mercês, in the heart of Salvador. The eighteenth-century mansion on Avenida Sete de Setembro, which debuted as the venue last year, will once again host the event between July 7 and September 6, 2026, this time guided by the theme "Mind and Heart".
At a moment marked by hyperconnectivity and the accelerated transformations of contemporary life, the theme of CASACOR 2026 proposes a pause. The idea is to reflect on a more conscious way of living, one that values the time of manual work, the coexistence between generations, and the relationships built in everyday life. An invitation to slow down and rediscover, within the home, spaces of affection, presence, and exchange.

The masterplan of this edition is signed by David Bastos, who is also responsible for the interventions on the verandas and in the church of the historic property. In all, there will be 45 projects conceived by more than 50 professionals in architecture, interior design, and landscaping, bringing together names already known to the public and 20 newcomers.
"CASACOR Bahia has always been a showcase of established talents, but part of our mission is to open doors. Having 20 newcomers in this edition shows that the Bahian architecture and design scene is alive and pulsating. The curatorship seeks this balance: bringing the experience of those who already have a solid career and, at the same time, giving space to new voices that arrive with a fresh perspective and a great desire to experiment", says Magali Santana.
Among the newcomers of this edition are Mariana Garcez and Luíza Spínola, Lara Castro, Keu Batista and Paulo Figueira, Sílvia Coelho, Natália Sampaio and Tânia Sampaio, Brenda Lomanto and Júlia Cacim, Sílvia Lectícia Rocha and Tays Mota, Raianna Bittencourt and Jessi Caleli, Bia Nery, Flacy Andrade, Michelle Araújo and Filipe Cady. The new names arrive on the cast bringing different perspectives and contemporary readings to the show.
