In his debut at CASACOR Santa Catarina | Itapema 2024, architect Felipe Medeiros presented us with the " Refugio do Tempo " environment, a project that not only showcases his mastery in architecture, but also invites us to a very well-planned sensory and visual experience. In order to harmonize nature with construction, Medeiros created a space that is a true refuge of well-being surrounded by art .

For the outdoor setting, Medeiros chose a palette of gray tones and natural textures to create a neutral backdrop that highlights the artwork and curated objects that make up the production. Among the standout pieces, the exclusive collection by artist Jay Boggo , from Joinville, brings a unique touch and celebrates regional creatives.

The architect thought of every detail to create different atmospheres : a cozy living room for conversations; an area with a low table for informal meals; and an area with chaise lounges for relaxing after a dip in the pool. The bar , which connects the indoor and outdoor areas, serves as a link between the art gallery and the pool area.

Spending time at the "Refugio do Tempo" is like transcending the concept of time ; the environment offers so many inspiring visual stimuli and such a serenity that the passage of time becomes the last of our concerns. Felipe Medeiros has achieved his desire to unite art and architecture in a space ideal for slowing down, appreciating and reconnecting with the beauty around us .
