A veteran,
Caco Borges is at the top of this list with
no less than 26 of the 30 editions held to date, under his belt . With his contemporary look and a touch of boldness, his spaces surprise our visitors. How could we forget, for example, the
Flat from the Journalist ? The space inspired by Nelson Motta was created for CASACOR Rio 2012, which took place in an emblematic building on Avenida Rui Barbosa (Flamengo) and featured mezzanines with
crystal floors and a
mix of textures such as exposed brick, wood and glass .
Two years later, the architect created another space that will remain in the memory: the
Gávea Brooklyn Apartment , an open, integrated space filled with
designer furniture .

Paola Ribeiro . The interior designer has participated in
25 editions in Rio de Janeiro (and another six in São Paulo), always bringing a sunny, cozy
décor that perfectly translates those desires we don't even know we have. But what usually draws the most attention is of our visitors is
its trademark: the putting-together of objects, works of art, books and affective memories that bring life to their environments, inspiring and enchanting our audience.

A beautiful example is the
Living created by Paola for CASACOR Rio 2016, held in a house in Gávea. The following year, at Aqwa Corporate, the designer surprised with the
SPA DECA , which had neutral décor and
350 white towels used as covering in a an environment that evoked comfort and well-being.

Among the memorable spaces, the
Collectors' Studio , at CASACOR Rio 2015, featured contemporary elements that contrasted with the original architecture of the 19th century property, one of the houses in Villa Aymoré, which housed the exhibition in that edition.

Estúdio Hum for Leroy Merlin, signed with Coletivo PN+, brought the best of
high-low with
sophisticated items used side by side with creative and accessible solutions. in a functional and practical environment without ever giving up elegance.
Mario Santos is a great partner. In addition to being responsible for the implementation of CASACOR Rio, he always brings innovative environments. In 2017, at Aqwa Corporate – a building designed by the English firm Foster+Partners – the architect created a 140 m² loft on the top floor. all built
inside ecological wooden brise-soleils , forming an island on a water mirror.
Absolutely unforgettable .
Last year, at the same Brando Barbosa Residence that hosts our next edition, his
“Contemplation” Art Room enchanted our visitors with the
mix of popular art and contemporary design that are the hallmarks of his work.
About CASACOR Rio 2022
In 2022,
CASACOR Rio will take place, for the second consecutive time, at Palacete Brando Barbosa, an iconic property located in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood. The show plans
to reoccupy the property under the watchful eye of a special cast that combines
