A house with a homely atmosphere , created from the imagination, nostalgia and memories of the architect who designed it: this is the environment presented by Wesley Lemos in this edition of CASACOR Sergipe , which has just opened its doors in Aracaju. Named Estesia Deca , the space makes direct reference to Sergipe houses built by the sea, rivers or mangroves.

Born in Sergipe, Wesley has an intimate emotional relationship with the region. Son of a bricklayer father, it was in the state of Sergipe that he began working on high-end projects and became a renowned architect. With elements that harmonize simplicity and sophistication , the wing created for the exhibition reflects the professional's personal trajectory. The narrative gains refinement with the presence of the Santos Dumont staircase, while the roof brings the feeling of nostalgia of home designs.

"I thought it made a lot of sense to bring my own ancestry, hence the idea that refers to vernacular architecture , of a small country house, which we see here and in various regions of Brazil. Everyone has a grandmother, an uncle, a relative who has a little house like that, which comes to mind as a souvenir and brings a breath of happiness”, says Wesley.

With the aim of creating a refuge for the season , rooms common to a residence were distributed in the layout : suite , kitchen and living room . The bathroom with the Deca Senses Bathtub with Matte Almond Step and the Deca You Square Dark Antracite Single-lever Floor Mixer , in continuation of the bedroom, reveres the waters, very representative in the context. At the same time, the view of the external garden reproduces a tropical forest and establishes a connection with nature that enhances the feeling of well-being.

Unlike most of Wesley's projects, Estesia Deca is not so marked by vibrant colors : the space innovates with the predominance of neutral tones in the coverings , such as Gales Decor SBE Matte present on the facade and Acqua OFW NAT on the internal floor, both from Portinari . The architect's choice, especially white, was made not only for its relaxing effect on the human psyche, but for its spiritual symbolism .

Finally, Deca crockery such as the Slim Rectangular Built -in Double Deck String Bowl , the Liquid String Support Bowl , the Axis String Basin with Attached Box and the Deca Senses Accessories line in Matte Almond convey lightness and sophistication to the environment, in harmony with the lines and shapes that run through each of the choices present in the house and tell parts of Wesley’s story.
