Terrace is landscaped with tall plants to create privacy

This penthouse is located in a privileged area of Leblon, right next to the beach. Landscape designer Anna Luiza Rothier managed, on the linear floor terrace, to give total privacy to the uncovered areas. “I have the greatest affection for this roof, as it was one of the first jobs I did for the current owner’s grandmother. Currently, a family lives in the property, made up of a very young couple with two young children, who are part of my client’s third generation,” she says. “Children really enjoy these open areas on the roof”, he adds.

For the landscaper, the pergola is a masterpiece by architect Jorge Hue, who made it for the owner's grandmother after the garden was ready. The external floor is entirely made of Brennand ceramic, with its covered area interrupted by a wooden deck . A cumaru wooden bench, close to the planters, surrounds the roof, accommodating a large number of people on festive days.
