Practical and unpretentious,
hanging gardens have been gaining prominence in residential and commercial projects that don't give up on having a cozy "green" to add more life to the composition. But can you call it a trend? In the opinion of the
CASACOR 2021 experts, there is no doubt about it: and not only that, but many of them have opted for
hanging plants in their spaces. In the project above, designed by
SP Estúdio , greenery was everywhere – including on the walls. Using a
planter or even a
panel , it is possible to include different species without taking up space.
Ferns are usually the favorites for this type of composition, as they have a light drape that brings movement to the space.
Another expert who opted for a hanging garden was
Larissa Abreu . The project featured
small hanging pots and more delicate plants that draw attention and create a unique accessory for the environment.
For those who have doubts about how to use plants in the kitchen,
Gabi Pontual showed a modern way, which included hanging gardens to put it into practice. Named "Living Room", the project brings a reflection on life and nature, and nothing like plants being used as a true symbol of life.
Placing
small flower boxes built into the wall is also a smart way to optimize space and create a beautiful detail in the project.
Ana Moura and
Ana Higino from
Arquitetos Associados put this into practice and created a very welcoming and healthy reading space.
The
CASACOR São Paulo bar also opted for a hanging garden to bring life to the decor without compromising the preparation of drinks and food. To achieve this, different species were placed on the ceiling, reflecting a lush
urban jungle .
