Developed simultaneously with the architectural project of the house, signed by the firm Paula Gonçalves Reis Arquitetura, the landscaping was designed to be integrated with the implementation of the residence, which occupies a lot of 2362 m², with a built area of 643 m², in a gated community. The profile of the resident — a businesswoman in her 50s and mother of two children — guided decisions aimed at creating functional outdoor areas, with gardens present in the daily life of the house and a constant visual connection between the interior and exterior.

The zoning of the landscaping considered solar incidence, shading, circulation flows, and the architectural layout. In the front area, the garden organizes the main access and integrates with the garage floor, eliminating level changes and visually expanding the space. On the side of the lot, Metake bamboos form a green barrier next to the wall, accompanied by ground cover of Liriope, as well as Strelitzias, Guaimbês, and palms that structure the flower beds.

[/caption>In the pool area, the landscaping was designed in dialogue with the materials of the architecture, using volumes of tropical foliage as a base. The olive tree was chosen as a central sculptural element, fulfilling a request from the client, and shares the spotlight with the Washingtonia palm, which contributes to the scale reading of the space. A vertical garden next to the gourmet space complements the set, integrating into the living area.

[/caption>The project adopts a tropical concept, inspired by the Brazilian landscape, with a predominantly green palette and selective insertions of flowering species in warm tones. Overall, more than 30 species were distributed throughout the lot, reconciling existing specimens and new plantings. "The garden was designed to maintain a consistent appearance throughout the year, with low maintenance and direct integration with the architecture of the house," concludes landscape architect Flávia D’Urso.
