Landscaping connects coverage to nature with lightness and continuity

In this penthouse, the landscaping project signed by Studio Julio Sousa Paisagismo – from the cast of CASACOR Rio de Janeiro – transforms the relationship between architecture and nature into something continuous and fluid. The outdoor area, with a privileged view of the city, was designed to enhance this horizon: concrete planters and pastel-colored furniture compose the neutral base that allows the vegetation to take center stage.

“In the planters, we used plants that reach the height of the guardrail. Thus, we can outline the penthouse with greenery, but without losing the openness to the view,” he explains.

The proposal, however, does not end on the balcony. The landscaping extends into the projects, creating a visual and sensory narrative that spans the entire property.

Natural light floods the spaces, where wood, white, and earthy tones converse with the freshness of the plants. “The landscaping does not end on the balcony. It inspires and breathes throughout the projects,” adds the landscaper.

With palm trees that provide lightness and lush foliage that brings texture and movement, the project translates the idea of continuity: between the inside and the outside, between the urban and the natural. The careful selection of species and the attention to maintenance ensure a balance between beauty and practicality - all designed to welcome and inspire in everyday life.
