The concept of "
urban kindness " is a recent term that many urban planners are using to describe the recovery of nature in the middle of the city. This is the goal of "
O Parque ", a
multipurpose complex that connects with the city of São Paulo, bringing
harmony and a corner of nature open to everyone, in the heart of the
Brooklin neighborhood.

The space consists of
towers with residential, corporate and serviced apartment functions – in addition to commercial options, such as
shops and restaurants . One of the main differences is the common area, which featured a landscaping project by
Ricardo Cardim , from
CASACOR São Paulo , who brought lush
native vegetation for use by residents and the surrounding population.

"In O Parque we have a private area open to the public –
a glimpse of what cities could be like in the future ", says Ricardo Cardim, responsible for the landscaping project of the complex.

Through the project, the landscaper wanted to rescue
species that were practically extinct and also pay homage to the Atlantic Forest, exploring the
natural beauty and proving that it is possible to create a breathtaking space without having to bring species from outside the country.

“We have already noticed that native plants attract birds, insects and even mammals, showing the beginning of a
new, complete cycle in nature ,” he comments.
The space has a total area of 38,000 m² of land, of which
10,000 m² are green areas . One of the highlights of the landscaping project is the
araucaria "forest" – still in the growth phase. There are around 40 units, planted to
restore the natural landscape of São Paulo , lost so many years ago.
