Right at the entrance to CASACOR São Paulo 2024 , visitors are welcomed by the " Caminhos do Xingu " garden, designed by renowned landscaper Mônica Costa , who is participating in the show for the fifth consecutive time. The 265 m² space is a tribute to the Xingu River, reflecting on the rich biodiversity of the Cerrado and Amazon biomes, through which the river flows. Mônica Costa Paisagismo - Vista Xingu. The landscaping is composed of vast tropical vegetation and a cumaru wood bridge , which leads to the interior of Conjunto Nacional, where the exhibition is taking place. Mônica hopes that each person who passes by the place will feel like a river, flowing in a unique and organic way. “Each step within the project will be an opportunity to reflect on the legacy for future generations”, says the landscaper. The vegetation, 80% native , is reminiscent of the equatorial climate, providing a visual and sensory experience. The charred wood used in Organne 's Vietnamese vases and the barcode partition evoke the fight against illegal timber trade and fires in the Amazon . Solid wood benches invite visitors to rest and reflect amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The lighting design by Filippo Giorgi and the sound design by SoulPlay, with a soundtrack remixed by Rafael Pucci, complement the atmosphere of connection and renewal that the garden inspires. Sounds of the forest, amplified by stylized speakers, reinforce the immersion in the Xingu culture and connection with nature.
