Fabiana Ferré - Alameda Jardins. “We created a space that invites people to contemplate the simple, to relax at a slow pace, finding the tranquility that contact with nature provides us”, describes Fabiana. Built in a passage area, the contemplative garden has an external seating area with a pergola. On the path to sustainability, the choice for recyclable materials such as the pergola floor and wall bricks produced from mud and fluorescent lamp waste stands out. (Evelyn Müller)
It is no surprise that the desire to live close to greenery has intensified in recent years – after all, with the pandemic, the time spent outside has significantly decreased. Hence the importance of gardens , which, full of life, colors and textures, inspire a more colorful and healthy lifestyle. At CASACOR São Paulo 2021 , the gardens prove that there is no place where a garden cannot fit : there are projects that take advantage of the view from the rooftop , others that were built in a passage area and even a garden suspended over the stairs. In this edition, the team of landscapers gave free rein to their imagination to take advantage of every corner of the exhibition , and the result is surprising gardens, which guarantee the presence of greenery everywhere. Check it out!
Starting with Alameda Jardins , designed by Fabiana Ferré, which, as the name suggests, was built in a passage area. The contemplative garden has an external seating area covered by a pergola that takes on the texture of straw . On the path to sustainability, the choice for recyclable materials such as the pergola floor and wall bricks produced from mud and fluorescent lamp waste stands out.

Inspired by the rustic beach clubs of Mykonos, Tulum and Trancoso, Rooftop CASACOR is a 224 m² space that was created to bring a post-pandemic summer vacation atmosphere . The priority here were plant species adapted to the climate and that do not require a lot of water. It is also worth highlighting the sustainable principle of the environment, since, after the event, all materials will be fully reused .
“We created a place for visitors to use, rest, enjoy the sky, admire the view and have a bit of a sense of hope that the pandemic is ending”, reveals landscape architect Catê Poli , who created the environment with landscaper João Jadão .
Also on the exhibition's rooftop , Mônica Costa 's Nômade Garden occupies the entire outdoor area surrounding Casa LG ThinQ . The landscape architect took advantage of the mobile home concept in her 340 m² space and created a completely detachable garden , with vases and tropical foliage, draining floors and neutral colors – all inspired by the landscaper's travels throughout Europe.
The wooden furniture and upholstery covered in fabrics suitable for outdoor areas provide comfort for a pleasant break in this moment of transition , after the long period of social isolation.
Reinterpreting winter gardens and bringing green back into the home was the motto of landscape architect Jonathas Matarelli Miranda , from Coletivo Aizó, with his Jardim Nuances . Surrounded by openings, the 19 m² garden with pebble floors, metal planters and lush tropical species offers nuances in different frames for contemplation.

The access ramp that joins the two floors of CASACOR became a place of contemplation in Mauro Contesini 's project. Plants that bring to mind grandmothers' houses , such as ferns, maidenhair and coleus, make up the vegetation in the Escadaria Mezzetino space. The cozy atmosphere comes from the lighting: “taking advantage of the amber light, we create the atmosphere with the sensation of sunset . A poetic way of welcoming visitors”, he says.
Created by landscapers Elaine Kalil and Maurício Ferre , from KalilFerre Paisagismo , the Meu Verde Particular space is an area of contemplation that invites you to pause and relax during your visit to the exhibition. There, visitors enjoy the generous green area distributed in flowerbeds, pots and cement planters.
The tropical vegetation that makes up the landscaping comes in a variety of shapes, textures and colors. In the garden, a tree-shaped sculpture made of bamboo extends its branches to the ceiling. The playful touch comes from the swings arranged around the square.

The Alameda das Artes project marks Luciano Zanardo's second participation in the exhibition, and incorporates art and vegetation . Distributed in quadrants in the main area, 15 elephant paws share the space with works by renowned artists who are present on a rotating basis.
