Imagine finding a refuge full of peace and contemplation , a space to change the energetic frequency of your observer and recover serenity and well-being in the middle of Paulista Avenue ? This is the proposal of Jardim Sereno , which plays with contrasts in a 110 m² project developed by landscapers Gabi Pileggi (Jardineiro Fiel office) and Luciana Bacheschi during the 36th edition of the CASACOR Sao Paulo .

It is a garden that values simplicity, that welcomes stories and returns to its origins, honoring the passage of time . We envision a healing space that helps to regenerate, restore inner energies and seek its purpose,” says Gabi Pileggi. “Here, less is more and the tranquility of nature can be felt and absorbed . We create an imperfect and natural state that leads us to reflection, a moment of peace, a pause,” continues Luciana Bacheschi.

According to the professionals, the choice to use Eucalyptus Biribas , present in architecture for so many decades, represented the starting point of the project. Because they are thin, round and well-kept pieces, they enhance the composition of the pergola and design the entrance to the garden , with a fluid and smooth path.

In keeping with the theme of this year’s exhibition, “ Body & Home ”, the relaxed and free atmosphere of the space is a true invitation for people to take a break in the garden and feel at home , even awakening memories that warm the heart. The landscapers designed a true oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of São Paulo and also a place suitable for a moment of respite during the exhibition .

The challenge of creating a space with only vases – since the property where the exhibition is held, Conjunto Nacional, is listed as a historical heritage site – encouraged the duo to opt for the authenticity of wood , stone and clay to give shape to Jardim Sereno. A calm and very natural palette – which includes white, off-white, yellow and brown – was the landscape designers’ choice.

Speaking of colors, “green” could not be forgotten! After all, the large number of species (25 in total) represents a prominent chapter in the environment . Starting with the professionals’ preference for presenting the plants in all their phases and not just in the splendor of each species. “ We wanted to show that plants are beautiful in all their moments , just as we see them in the backyards and balconies of real homes, where the species start as seedlings and develop daily. After all, is there anything more beautiful than watching a life grow?”, comments Gabi.
