Aromatic garden brings the perfect balance to CASACOR RP 2022

Aromas are essential to create a sensory experience. They are capable of awakening different feelings. This is what Mônica Costa does in the Jardim dos Alecrins project, where she focused on creating a moment of pause and connection with nature. Rosemary is a very aromatic plant , used in various therapeutic treatments because it brings a sense of calm and relaxation. It is impossible not to smell the fresh aroma when entering the project. The garden occupies the Central Square of CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2022 and welcomes visitors into a vast and yet delicate green atmosphere. "There are other spaces around it, which is why my work expanded to integrate them into the landscaping, but focusing on low-lying plans so that the facades could appear from the perspective of the architecture," explains Mônica Costa. The objective of the project, according to the landscaper herself, was to create a relationship between the natural environment and human interference through the benefits that the space can generate. Welcoming, affection, exchange and receptivity are marks that this year's project left on visitors.
