Choose the right location: opt for a space that receives indirect sunlight for several hours. If cultivated in a project, place it near a well-lit window. Prepare the soil properly: use well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Mixing sand into the substrate can assist in drainage, preventing water accumulation at the roots. Water moderately: dipladenia prefers slightly moist soil. Increase watering frequency in the summer and reduce in the winter. Avoid soaking! Regular fertilization: apply balanced liquid fertilizer every two to three weeks during spring and summer to promote flowering and vigorous growth.
Pruning to stimulate vitality: perform maintenance pruning after the flowering period to remove dry branches and stimulate new shoots. Protection against pests: be alert for pests such as aphids and spider mites. Using natural insecticides or soap solutions can control these infestations.
