Exuberant throughout the external area of the Brando Barbosa Residence, where this 30th edition of
CASACOR Rio is taking place, the greenery also invaded the internal spaces of the show and inspired the 57 professionals in the cast in very different ways, but with the same objective:
to bring nature into the house . The need that had been consolidating for some time, as the
Urban Jungle trend already made clear, became
even more present in pandemic times .
And what you see at CASACOR Rio is that
green can be in any environment . Even in the bathroom! It's no wonder that two spaces do this very well. In her
Hamman SPA , architect Bianca da Hora created a
corner for plants. , which are given the mission of making the environment even more relaxing. In the bathroom at
Casa UP for Metalmarco , the
integration between the inside and outside is total and absolute, without any division between them.

In the
Bathroom , Beto Figueiredo and Luiz Eduardo Almeida
transformed a jabuticaba tree into a star . Planted in a large cachepot right in the center of the room, the tree gained a circular sink around it – designed by the architects and executed by
Deca – which through A
filtration technology supplies water to the tree . The space also had all the walls painted in the Black Forest tone, by
Coral , a moss green that
highlights the natural climate of the environment .

Green is even more present in Jean de Just's
Winter Garden . The French architect
made the most of Brazilian and tropical elements by adding greenery (and plants) to the walls – sometimes in a
vertical garden, sometimes in a geometric panel made of tiles.
Vivian Reimers – Livraria. A frondosa árvore ao fundo do ambiente foi a grande inspiração para o projeto que ganhou sob sua sombra um simpático cantinho de leitura. Aqui, a Mata Atlântica do jardim pede passagem e invade o espaço construído em estrutura metálica modular apenas para a mostra. O estilo é contemporâneo com materiais que imitam cimento queimado e mobiliário em linhas retas e simples. Peças originais da casa também foram aproveitadas, com destaque para a enorme mesa de seis metros de comprimento que foi adquirida num convento em Recife e, por anos, recebia os convidados da casa para almoços e jantares memoráveis. Another different proposal used by architect Vivian Reimers was to explore the garden
as a true living painting using a glass wall in her
bookstore that
integrates the internal and external environment, presenting greenery as the purest and truest work of art.
