Every year,
CASACOR exhibitions around the Americas show the public that
outdoor areas can be much more than just a simple arrangement of
furniture around a
pool or
barbecue . Whether they are
balconies ,
terraces ,
patios or
backyards , the outdoor spaces seen so far
in this edition have impressed visitors with projects that value
biophilia , natural
lighting ,
landscaping and the outdoors, and thus
connect living with nature. Furthermore, outdoor areas are often used to welcome guests
— so there’s nothing more worthwhile than taking a close look at this space that can host special moments with loved ones. That’s why we’ve prepared a selection of
5 outdoor area projects that play with these elements and were featured at
CASACOR 2024. Check it out! 1. Tierra de Fuego, by Gabriela Greiner and Natalia Pereyra
In this
CASACOR Bolivia 2024 project, architects Gabriela Greiner and Natalia Pereyra showed how
interior design can enhance and
enhance the barbecue area inside the home. According to the professionals, the space was designed to provide pleasant moments in different spaces for receiving friends and family.

2. Rise Up, by Junior Piacesi
One of the restaurants at
CASACOR Minas Gerais 2024 , the
Eleve-se space, by Junior Piacesi, elevates the importance of
architecture to the same level as
gastronomy within the space that inaugurates the Jângalito bar. With a panoramic view and an outdoor patio inspired by Milan's rooftop bars, the project highlights a
modern architectural structure in the Minas Gerais show.

4. Brazilian Courtyard, Gabi Pileggi and Luciana Bacheschi
In a tribute to biophilic design and native Brazilian vegetation, architects Gabi Pileggi and Luciana Bacheschi showed at CASACOR São Paulo 2024 that lush and biodiverse flora can indeed be part of today's outdoor areas. In
Pátio Brasileiro , a 50 m² space,
native species, handcrafted vases and vibrant colors predominate, inserting the
aesthetics of Brazilianness into this space that derives from the traditional
European patios brought to Brazil by colonizers. 5. Swimming Pool, by Wolfgang Schologel
The 200 m² of outdoor space at CASACOR Paraná 2024 could not be more inviting: landscaper Wolfgang Schologel preserved the original swimming pool of the mansion that hosts the show and designed a large lounge , furnished with the best in outdoor furniture .
