The CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2025 announced the results of the CASACOR SC / UNIVALI award, an initiative that recognizes the best projects of the edition. The contest is organized by NCPro – Project Contest Center of the University of Vale do Itajaí (UNIVALI), in partnership with CASACOR SC.

The aim of the award is to highlight proposals that stand out for their creativity, technical rigor, and adherence to the central theme of the exhibition: "Sowing Dreams", which proposes reflections on the role of architecture and design in the future of cities and new ways of inhabiting.
The director of CASACOR SC, Francis Bernardo, and the architect and professor from UNIVALI Eduardo Lopes, author of the contest announcement, conducted the delivery of the trophies and certificates at the ceremony. Lopes highlighted the technical and unbiased nature of the evaluation – based on criteria such as adherence to the theme, functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and quality of execution.

The jury for this edition was composed of architects Carolina Pinto, Evandro da Rocha Gaspar, Maria Luiza Nunes Caritá, Luiza de Mattos Silva, and Giseli dos Santos Andrade, representatives from UNIVALI, CAU/SC, IAB/SC, and ASBEA/SC. The ceremony also featured the presence of Cleide Gomes de Oliveira, commercial director of CASACOR in São Paulo.
In the end, Francis Bernardo emphasized the importance of resuming the award and thanked the engagement of the professionals: “It is a joy to recognize the talent and dedication of all participants. CASACOR SC is a space for expression and innovation, and seeing each professional's commitment to quality and respect for the brand is a point of pride.”

In addition to the technical recognition, CASACOR SC awarded the Timeliness Award to the duo Maria Eduarda Werlich and Danielle Ceriotti, authors of the projects Capsules Refuge – Functional Bathrooms.

The honorable mentions were awarded to the projects Loja Açorá, by architects Lívia Cravo and Schaiana Alves, and Di Forno Restaurante, by Ana Laus and Rafaela Roncelli Vieira.
