After much anticipation, the winners of the 6th edition of the Correio Braziliense/CASACOr Brasília Awards were revealed on the evening of Wednesday, October 25. In all, 10 categories were awarded with the trophy created exclusively by ceramist Mariana Franco, four of which were chosen through popular vote on the Correio Braziliense website. The other six were defined by a judging committee.

The public, through 3,351 valid votes , chose their favorite environments in the categories Dream Bathroom , Dream Kitchen , Dream Bedroom and Dream Living Room . The jury, composed of Cristina Bava (content and marketing director at CASACOR), George Zardo (architect), Sibele Negromonte (sub-editor of Correio Braziliense Magazine), Eduardo Sainz (architect), Mônica Blanco (president of CAU-DF), Samuel Lamas (architect and designer), Caetana Franarin (creator of BSB Designe Week), Anna Paola Pimenta da Veiga (communicator), Soraya Tupinambá (director of Claro), Livia Pedreira (president of CASACOR's board of trustees), Dimitri Locicks (designer), Kelly Venâncio (institutional communications coordinator at Correio Braziliense) and Douglas de Oliveira Galvão de Araújo (architect of Quadra Interior), selected the remaining winners.

In the Popular Jury category, the Tekoá environment, by Fint Arquitetura , was the big winner of Sonho de Sala, followed by the Morada Brasília Room, by Hélio Albuquerque, and the Studio Atos Room, by Olzi Arquitetura. In the Bathroom Dream category, Casa Brasília, by Cybele Barbosa , came out on top. Second place went to SPA Naz Deca, by Traama Arquitetura, and third place went to Bangalô Veraneio, by Orla Arquitetura. In the Bedroom Dream category , Espaço Ventre, by Luciana Câmara and Adriana Melo , took first place, followed by Casa Brasília, by Cybele Barbosa, and Loft da Fernanda, by Studio Tivi. Casa Raízes, a project designed by Studio Arch+ , won first place in the Sonho do Cozinha competition. Second place went to Casa Claro, by Ney Lima and Walléria Teixeira, and third place went to Loft Breton, by Thaís Caixeta.

The 12 jurors who made up the Technical Jury elected the best environments in the categories Most Original Project , Best Commercial Use , Best Public Use , Best Use of Work of Art , Most Bold Project and Best Project of 2023 . Cabana do Lago, by Leo Romano , won first place for Most Original Project; Spa Naz Deca, by Traama Arquitetura, and Espaço Ventre, by Luciana Câmara and Adriana Melo, came in second and third place, respectively. Restaurante New, designed by the duo Orestes Blanco and Rosa Maranini , was elected the project for Best Commercial Use, followed by Arena Bar, designed by Dani Bessa Arquitetura and Giovanini Lettieri Arquitetos, and Boulangerie, by Karla Amaral.

The Technical Jury chose the space designed by Bloco Arquitetos for São Geraldo 40 years as the Most Bold Project; the New Restaurant and the Naz Deca SPA came next. In Best Use of a Work of Art, the winner was Morada Brasília, by Hélio Albuquerque ; SEERMAAI, by Maai Arquitetura, took silver and Sala Galeria, by Maria Araújo, took bronze. Finally, the Best Project of 2023 went to Morada Brasília, by Hélio Albuquerque . Casa Raízes, by Studio Arch+, secured second place and Casa Casqueiro, by Larissa Dias, third.

The CASACOR Brasília/Correio Braziliense Award aims to recognize and promote the best decoration, design and landscaping projects carried out at the show, which in its 31st edition brought together 49 environments . In addition to highlighting the creativity and innovation of professionals in these areas, the partnership also aims to honor talents and encourage the main highlights and innovations in the segment.
Special Sale
The last two days of the show, November 4th and 5th, are dedicated to the CASACOR Brasília Special Sale , with discounts of up to 50%. One of the great expectations of the visiting public is to be able to take home the objects and accessories of the environments of their “dreams” with special prices on furniture, ornaments, works of art, rugs, electronic equipment, home appliances and various products (except cars, food in restaurants/bars/cafes).

Access through gate J/7 - Brasília (DF) Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday, from 3pm to 10pm. Saturdays and holidays, from 12pm to 10pm. Sunday, from 12pm to 9pm. Tickets: R$90.00 (full price) and R$45.00 (half price for students, teachers, people with disabilities, people with autism and people aged 60 or over with proof of identity). Children up to 12 years old go free. Presentation of ID card/proof of identity is mandatory.
