The time is coming! On March 2nd, the special 30th anniversary edition of
CASACOR Rio opens its doors in a beautiful mansion in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood. Although it is very well preserved, the house is undergoing renovation that
further enhances its rich architectural details .
Details preserved
Many original pieces are being revitalized to find new uses. The second-floor oratory will be used as a bookcase by
Caco Borges and
Carolina Haubrich in their Home Office & Games. The many closets in the bedroom occupied by the previous owners of the house have been revitalized, painted white and will also be used as bookshelves by interior designer
Paola Ribeiro . When finished, the
Master Bedroom will have a casual-chic ambiance and prioritize comfort.
Tiles
The greenery, so present in the
residence's 12,000 square meter gardens , will also invade the interior spaces.
Beto Figueiredo and
Luiz Eduardo Almeida opted for the color to further highlight the marble bathtub – which is said to have belonged to Empress Teresa Cristina – in their Bathroom. The space will also have a large tree right in its center.
Jean de Just has painted the garden on the walls. In a reference to the house's many tile panels, he created a work with geometric designs in tiles in his Winter Garden.
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro will take place from March 2nd to May 9th and will feature
57 professionals , including architects, interior designers and landscapers. There will be 38 spaces set up at the Brando Barbosa Residence. For the first time, the show will be hybrid, with
an in-person version and a digital version , with videos and 3D tours available right here on the
