In 2021,
CASACOR Goiás will take place from
August 28 to October 12 and will occupy
Flamboyant Shopping , in Goiânia. In an area of 6,600 m², the public will be able to see the ideas and solutions proposed in interiors by the
CASACOR cast – many of which this time will be large, with more than 100 m². With preparations in full swing and the opening date getting closer, we have selected
two spaces that are making their debut in this edition of CASACOR Goiás for you to check out first-hand : the Sushi Bar, designed by Marco Leal, and Casa de Raiz, by architect Mariana Mendonça and landscaper Shoraya Canedo.
Sushi Bar, by Marco Leal
In his debut at
CASACOR Goiás , architect and urban planner
Marco Leal builds a narrative around the memories, connections and encounters that run through the space-time that defines each person. By questioning how each person gets to where they are and how the physical environment influences the development of the human being,
Marco calls his work "the memory of the future" and develops a
space for those who vibrate with diversity , the 180m²
Sushi Bar Jun Sakamoto .
The place is
marked by contrasts , which range from absence to excess, destruction to life, creating a place where opposites coexist. Highlights include the
furniture with designer tables and the
vertical garden , which features species hand-picked by the architect himself.

The stone flooring of the 120m² space is reminiscent of old homes; the worn walls recall the timelessness of mother's homes; the natural materials such as bamboo, ceramics, clay, linen and basketwork refer to
simple living and the appreciation of craftsmanship .

Landscaper Shoraya Canêdo designed an
old-fashioned garden, with plants that remind us of our grandmother's backyard . The jabuticaba and banana trees represent the orchard; the aromatic herbs, spices and peppers remind us of the family gathered for Sunday lunch. And, of course, there was no shortage of
colorful flowers and foliage that made up that simple yet perfect garden.
