Alex Hanazaki is one of the few names in contemporary Brazilian landscaping with international recognition. Twice awarded by ASLA, the American Society of Landscape Architecture, the landscape architect was the first and only Brazilian to receive the award that recognized in 2017, the project of Eliane Square , created at CASACOR São Paulo 2016 , the most beautiful in the world in the General Design category. Heir to the legacy of landscaper, architect and artist Roberto Burle Marx, Hanazaki also became famous for his highly expressive projects that combine nature and architecture in a rare way. Passionate about drawing since childhood, the landscaper is a creator of meticulously designed beauties. . https://www.instagram.com/tv/CDzoz9zg76I/?igshid=wy85p2jagspn
Apart from that, Alex made a point of remembering that the landscaping boom lasted a short time – just a decade – between the 1950s and 60s, in Brazil, with the large-scale projects created by master Burle Marx. Soon after this phase of intense creation, came a moment of shrinkage. “This heroic phase, which happened in Brazil, was unique. And, certainly, it was one of the greatest moments of urban landscaping in the world, but soon after these great projects, landscaping here in Brazil was very little thought and explored."

And, at the end of the conversation, when asked by the host Bruno Dias (himself an entrepreneur in the events sector) about the importance of participating in events in the area for building a brand, the Alex Hanazaki brand, he responded emphatically: " Participating in events likeCASACORis almost vital, it is necessary. I am a product ofCASACOR. And I am part of a generation that emerged in the 2000s – my firstCASACORwas in 2002 – that had their names known and recognized by the market, public and press for throughCASACOR". To end the chat, Alex made a statement: "Brazil needs to fix several things before just thinking about beautifying its cities. It is necessary to create ways for people to be able to live in their cities. The pandemic has made clear the importance of these areas. urban green spaces, any small space, a small square was extremely important. Greenery is essential for people's health."[newsletter]
