It was the love of living things, the deep connection between humans and nature that inspired and guided AkzoNobel ’s international colour trend study
, Colour Futures , revealing the Colour of the Year 2023: Winter Silence , a light greenish and earthy that evokes fullness, calm and the magic of transformations. Winter Silence is a positive, natural and energetic color that connects us with what is purest on the planet and makes the home a more cozy place, evoking warm tones of dried flowers and fields that bring a feeling of permanence . With nature as the central character, AkzoNobel's team of color experts also identified four new palettes that reflect
the different ways in which nature is present in people's lives. Fruits of natural tones , all 37 colors of the year 2023 work together, offering combinations that become perfect for the current moment. “This year, our colors carefully reflect the hues we find in nature: from gray, found in mushrooms, to browns, woods and floral pinks. All the colors in our palettes are made to
be used together . Thus, our palette of 37 colors offers people an easy way to create
inspiring combinations that, in addition to following the latest
trends , are also practical”, explains
Juliana Zaponi , Communication and Color Manager at AkzoNobel Latin America.
