CASACOR São Paulo opens to the public on May 30th at Conjunto Nacional, and expectations are already high about how the professionals will surprise visitors with their projects. Considered one of the great names in architecture and interior design in Brazil, Sig Bergamin is once again part of the cast and, this year, he will present a space created together with Deca , which is celebrating three decades as the show's master sponsor . "Sig's choice was very emblematic for this commemorative edition of the brand. He designed Deca's first space at CASACOR and, now, this will be the third time that the partnership has been repeated", reveals Fabiana Melo, branding, communication, digital and CRM manager at Grupo Dexco. A master in the use of colors and prints, a fan of aesthetic combinations and creative like few others, Sig sought inspiration in nature with the aim of creating a relaxing atmosphere that exudes well-being . "Preserving the environment is in the spotlight these days and since Deca is always ahead of its time, it is only fair that nature should be the protagonist of this moment of celebration at CASACOR. So, after much study and research to arrive at the final concept, Sig designed a 430 m² space, which brings references to biophilic architecture and organic design , with lots of curves , plants and the use of the color green in several variations and elements. "The idea is for the visitor to feel immersed in a forest, and that's why I chose to use few pieces of furniture to highlight the biophilia and Deca products, which mimic flowers in the middle of this landscape," he says. The plants, by the way, are a delight in their own right. Wherever you look, you will see walls full of native Brazilian species . To choose each one, Sig pored over books and websites on botany and landscaping in-depth research to choose the ideal ones. "The plants had to be Brazilian and shade-loving, because the exhibition space is completely enclosed. This study was very interesting because it also taught me a lot," he reveals. And to keep them healthy and beautiful throughout the exhibition, the architect's team developed a watering and maintenance plan , as well as special lighting that stimulates photosynthesis. In addition to bringing nature to Conjunto Nacional and creating a sense of well-being, which is all about contemporary bathrooms, the idea behind the project is to revisit the past and look to the future in order to celebrate Deca 's history with CASACOR. "These two brands together have helped shape people's homes over time," reflects Fabiana. That's why there will be no shortage of fond memories during the tour. Called Ciclos Deca by Sig Bergamin , the space will have six bathrooms in total. "The first three will be reinterpretations of moments in this history, and the other three will bring a provocation about what bathrooms will be like in the coming years," she adds. Among the products that Deca will be presenting are the latest products recently launched at Expo Revestir, including the innovative Deca You collection , which allows for the customization of metal colors and shapes, as well as exclusive launches saved for CASACOR that promise to stir visitors' feelings. "We are going to reintroduce a design that is well-known and loved by people.
