Before revealing the theme for the upcoming year, a panel brought together names such as Potiguar architect Viviane Telles, Guarani spiritual leader Carlos Papá, and psychoanalyst Maria Homem, who shared with the audience their views on organic, manual, ancestral, and emotional intelligences. These reflections served as an introduction to the insights that CASACOR proposes for 2026, in tune with contemporary issues impacting the market.

Right after the three guests spoke, who also answered questions from the audience, the theme for next year was announced. 'Mind and Heart’ is the creative proposal for 2026 and was defined by the curatorial team after studying scenarios and trends.
In the next CASACOR season, professionals will face the challenge of working on the house as a space of healing and self-care, in contrast to the excessive amount of information and the anxieties brought about by the insertion of artificial intelligence into daily life. The FOMO Syndrome, from the English "fear of missing out" has never been so strong in our society and brings a feeling of anxiety and apprehension about missing out on information, events, and experiences.

Livia Pedreira, president of the curatorial board, explains that CASACOR's research points to the house as a refuge, in a physical-psychic field that preserves and comforts. “Our manifesto highlights that the reconnection with the dwelling peaked at the beginning of the years 2020. However, the idea of the house as a safe haven persists and now symbolizes an ambiguous era that pushes us towards exposure but demands introspection. We face a panorama of conflicts, inequality, extreme climate events, and insecurity with the advancement of artificial intelligence. As anguish weighs on mental health, our shelter stands firm as the sacred territory of the search for balance between outside and inside, body and spirit. In the empire of hyperconnectivity, the house serves as a counterpoint to the exhausting demand for productivity”, she explains.

CASACOR also announced other news, such as the 2026 Campaign, orchestrated by Versa, an organization of architects, designers, and curators, the creation of the CASACOR Institute, and the CASACOR and the Park exhibition, which will take place from November 21 to December 14, gathering activities held at Agua Branca Park, before, during, and after the 2025 showing. The 2026 São Paulo showing, the main event of the calendar, is expected to occur from June 2 to August 9, for the second consecutive year at the Agua Branca Park.

The CEO notes that CASACOR has accounted for a great legacy for the Park and the local population, highlighting the 700 tons of debris removed from the buildings used for the exhibition, R$ 3 million invested in the recovery of the constructions, as well as the increase in the circulation of people and revenue in local businesses, with 95% of the nearby establishments wishing for CASACOR to return to Agua Branca Park.
