Rio+Design will once again represent the state of Rio de Janeiro at Milan Design Week. Fifty-nine pieces, selected by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), will be on display at the Be Brasil space at FuoriSalone between the 17th and 22nd of April.
The works chosen for the exhibition include furniture, decoration and utensils designed by 17 studios, both new and established. Names such as Indio da Costa Design, Studio Zanini, Estúdio Alcantarino and oEbanista are on the list of professionals.
Designer Renata Pereira, from Oficina 021, will be participating in the Week for the first time. “Our expectation with Rio+Design is to promote the creative industry in Rio, publicizing all the creative potential that exists in the city and showcasing the quality and beauty of our work.” , he explained. Ricardo Graham, in his fifth participation, seeks to expand the frontiers of his brand. “We hope to make professional contacts with a view to selling the pieces, promoting our creations to foreign and Brazilian companies, making contact with industries, retailers and the press.” , complete.
