The new dates for the
60th edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan were announced on Monday 17th. The big commemorative date of one of the largest and most expressive international design fairs will take place from
7th to 12th June 2022 . The decision to move the fair to June, instead of April as is usually the case, was motivated by the desire to organize a large-scale event that reflects the importance and quality of the fair without compromising the health of exhibitors and visitors. The event will focus on sustainability , serving as a showcase for the advances made in this regard by creatives, designers and companies. Due to the new wave of Covid-19, the change to June will also ensure an even stronger presence of exhibitors. and foreign professionals – one of the highlights of Salone. According to Porro, "the desire for a Salone is growing stronger and stronger, so we are working towards an event that will give everyone the opportunity to enjoy a unique, concrete and exciting experience."
