The biggest event of Milan Design Week is Salone del Mobile , which is located at the Fiera Milano exhibition center until April 21, 2024, and has already started! This edition, the fair welcomes more than 1900 exhibitors and features furniture, lighting, home appliances, kitchen, bathroom, outdoor and workspace products from thousands of brands. Salone 2024, following the inclusion of last year's Euroluce Biennale – dedicated to the world of lighting – will host EuroCucina , a biennial exhibition focused on kitchen and bathroom design. Salone del Mobile Milano é um dos eventos que acontece durante a Milan Design Week. The objective of the fair is to build an impactful program that provides approximately 400,000 visitors with a subjective and memorable experience. CASACOR was there to check out all the latest developments in the sector and, below, we’ll tell you about the highlights of the fair. Check it out!

SOLLOS & Jader Almeida

Since 2014, the partnership between the SOLLOS industry and designer Jader Almeida has been attracting attention at Milan Design Week. This year, with the support of Abimóvel and Apex-Brasil, they will be present at the Salone del Mobile with a stand that invites visitors to experience the universes of both brands.

The space is designed as a neutral enclosure that embraces the pieces displayed individually, in order to enhance their own lines, curves and nuances. The visitor can contemplate the correct proportion between solids and voids, as well as visualize the continuous and fluid lines in their entirety.

“We started with the idea of presenting a cross-section of the collection through our most significant pieces. We did not follow a chronological order, because creating timeless objects is an integral part of our creative philosophy,” says Jader Almeida.
