Cast, sponsoring companies, and official suppliers of
CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul participated in another important stage of the event this Tuesday, February 4, during the
2025 operational meeting. The meeting, focused on presenting the guidelines for the works at the
old terminal of the Salgado Filho International Airport – where the exhibition, scheduled for May in Porto Alegre, will be held – included a lecture by the Director of Relationship and Content of CASACOR,
Pedro Ariel Santana, with the theme "
Sow Dreams" a creative proposal for the national event. "It is essential that we think of a multi-species city, designed not only for humans but also for other beings, that recognizes the cyclical processes of nature, learns from them, and continuously improves its own systems," says Pedro Ariel. The result of this thinking will soon be showcased to the gaucho public through
40 new projects, built in 6,000 m
2 and signed by well-known names in the market, new talents and representatives from the interior of the state, with a
masterplan by Aclaene de Mello. Besides revitalizing the building of the old terminal of the Salgado Filho Airport and presenting creations and trends from the construction, decoration, and landscaping sectors, the event will stimulate the regional economy and the events sector. The theme of CASACOR 2025 is based on three pillars:
collective dreams, cooperative ecosystems, and confluence of knowledge. The first invites reflection on the ability to dream collectively and create a desirable future that guides human actions with harmony and collaboration. Next is the integration between the urban and the natural, promoting the idea of
cities as living ecosystems, which challenge the separation between constructed projects and nature, proposing the creation of cities that function like forests. It also includes
collaboration among various disciplines and cultures, with transdisciplinarity being fundamental for developing innovative and sustainable solutions, connecting architecture, engineering, biology, social sciences, and many other areas. CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul has the following official sponsoring companies: Deca, Tintas Coral, Banco BRB, Electrolux, Savarauto, Fraport, Portinari, Cindapa.
