CASACOR Brasília begins this month the construction work for the 2026 show. The kick-off took place at the operational meeting this Tuesday, the 12th, with the cast, brands and partners at the Mezzanine of Livraria da Travessa at Casapark. The 34th edition will be held from August 12 to October 12, 2026 and will be held for the second time in a building that is an affective heritage of the federal capital, the Casa do Candango, at 603 Sul.
The operational meeting also marks the announcement of the winner of the 13th São Geraldo Young Professional Award. Natália Luz will design this year's public restroom, which will remain as a legacy for Casa do Candango.

CASACOR Brasília 2026 will feature 43 projects inspired by the CASACOR theme in 2026: "Mind and Heart". It proposes a reflection on the home as a space for healing, a physical and psychic refuge in a hyperconnected and accelerated world.

At the technical meeting with the businesswomen leading CASACOR Brasília, Eliane Martins, Moema Leão and Sheila Podestá, the participants received the technical guidelines and understood the importance of creating projects with 100% accessibility and centralized management of waste during the construction work of the show's projects. Materials and products will be donated to NGOs.
The show is moving toward the goal of 99.7% waste valorization on the way to achieving Zero Waste certification. For this, the collaboration of participating professionals is of utmost importance for a more sustainable construction.

Last year, the show closed its 33rd edition with a record of 30,000 visitors during its two months of operation. The public was able to see projects that embraced sustainable processes, natural materials and immersive experiences to awaken the senses and suggest a moment of pause and introspection.
In 2025 there were 50 projects designed by 67 professionals, immersed in the theme "Sowing Dreams", instigating a deep reflection on the future of cities, architecture and human relationships. The projects revealed affective, regenerative and conscious living, exploring the Brasília identity through elements – such as the red earth of the Cerrado – and a design that dialogues with the artisanal, the sensorial and contemplation.

The show, which occupied an area of 5,040 m² divided between the ground floor and two other floors of the building, left a legacy. The entire structure of Casa do Candango was restored by CASACOR Brasília before the event opened its doors to the public. The 1977 building underwent restoration of facades, glass, floors, water tanks and roofs, and updating of hydraulic, electrical and rainwater networks, in addition to the construction of a parking lot and the requalification of the gardens.
The action reaffirms the show's commitment to urban and social development, in addition to aligning with this year's concept "Sowing Dreams", by connecting the memory of the workers who built Brasília to the purpose of giving new uses to the historic spaces of the federal capital.
