With new
solutions and concepts ,
CASACOR has applied
sustainability strategies to the exhibition's
construction, use and deconstruction processes for yet another year. The Sustainability Report for the 2023 edition has just been finalized and presents CASACOR's commitment to
zero waste , recycling, greenhouse gas offsetting and partnerships with social projects. The document is based on the
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) methodology , which develops guidelines and indicators for preparing sustainability reports and is aligned with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Millennium Development Goals, ISO standards and codes of conduct and ethics.

positive social impact , which occurred through donations made to
NGOs such as Lia Esperança, Solidariedade com Arte and
Fazendinhando . At the end of the exhibition, 43 tons of materials were donated, such as flooring, coverings, carpentry and crockery. Alice also highlights the avalanche in the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions compensation index. The professional explains that the impressive
689% increase in GHG compensation , compared to 2022, occurred due to the inclusion of compensation for gases generated during the event's assembly in the logistics of materials used in the environments. From this measure, compensation increased from
44 tons of CO2 to 308 tons .
