Planning interior design is something that many people enjoy, looking for references and looking for "best practices" to help make the space harmonious and cozy. However, every year,
CASACOR sets trends and presents, through the work of renowned architects and young talents, environments that break the rules and, still, are
full of harmony and personality . Below, we have selected 5 projects that are an example of this!
1. Boreal Studio, by Ana Weege
(Gabriela Daltro / CASACOR)
For integrated environments, the rule is
to keep the same flooring (or at least a similar covering) in the spaces to ensure greater harmony between the spaces.
In the project signed by
Ana Weege for
CASACOR São Paulo 2022 , this rule goes out of the picture and makes room for the contrasting use of a
wooden floor in the living room and a checkered floor in the kitchen , which highlights and brings a more artistic aspect to the project.
2. Casa Coral, by Marcelo Salum
Some say that dark environments are detrimental to lighting, but
Juarez Cruz 's project is a counterpoint. The architect opted for the color black to create a
striking space full of personality , and used
white lighting to bring in more brightness. Also noteworthy is the white furniture that contrasts very well with the darker base.
4. Axé Coexistence, by Nat Coelho Architecture
Another common rule is to use
wallpaper or stickers on a single wall and leave the rest more neutral. In this project designed by
Nat Coelho Arquitetura , the space features the walls, which bring a feeling of coziness and present very natural and bold features for the project – not to mention the mix of prints and colors.
5. Chez Amour, by Camila Bittencourt Arquitetura
Some people say that
pink brings a more "childish" aspect to decoration, and therefore, the rule is to always use this color in children's and teenagers' bedrooms.
Camila Bittencourt bet on the different shades of pink in a sure-fire way and created an
empowered and modern look .
