VEJA SP Award chooses the best environments at CASACOR São Paulo 2023
At an exclusive cocktail party for invited guests, VEJA São Paulo magazine, together with a specialized jury, chose the best environments in 13 different categories

The winners of the VEJA SP Award for Best CASACOR Environment were revealed on Thursday night (20) at an exclusive cocktail party for invited guests. In its second edition, the ceremony distributed trophies from Estúdio Paulo Alves in 13 categories – four more than last year –, voted among the 74 environments that make up the São Paulo show this year. The largest architecture, decoration and landscaping show in the country, CASACOR will be on display until August 6 at Conjunto Nacional, on Avenida Paulista. Jury
Ten names from different areas of the living universe – including architects, journalists and photographers – were invited to compose the jury responsible for choosing the favorite environments of the edition. “The jury does not only reflect the perspective of the segment (of decoration), after all, CASACOR is for everyone. It inspires professionals in the field, but also people to live better”, says Livia Pedreira , curator of CASACOR .

Alexandre Salles: Master in architecture and urban planning, partner at Estúdio Tarimba, researcher in design and art and coordinator at the Instituto Europeo di Design;
Carolina Ferraz: Actress, presenter and owner of the Cimples brand of home products;
Catherine Otondo: Architect and urban planner, president of CAU/SP;
Gianfranco Vannucchi: Partner at the firm Königsberger and Vannucchi Arquitetos Associados. Former president of AsBEA Nacional – Brazilian Association of Architectural Firms;
Isa Silva: Fashion designer and owner of the Isaac Silva brand;
Joice Berth: Architect, curator, psychoanalyst and writer, author of Empowerment and If the City Were Ours;
Manuel Sá: Architectural photographer, architect and director of photography;
Marianne Wenzel: Journalist specializing in architecture and postgraduate in responsive cities;
Taissa Buescu: Journalist, curator of the new Home&Design area at Shopping Cidade Jardim;
Waldick Jatobá: Director of Estúdio Campana, Instituto Campana and MADE, an art and design fair.

Reflecting the growth of the show itself, which went from 58 to 74 environments due to the expansion to the 2nd floor of the building, in a total of 11,000 square meters of event, the award added four new categories in relation to last year. In this way, categories were created for Home and Loft , in addition to awards for Landscaping and Bathrooms and Lavatories . The works of art, highlighted this year in installations and in their own gallery, also have an extra category. They are:
