Recognizing the talent of professionals and students around the world, the Salão Design Award has just announced the 11 projects selected for its 25th edition.
The result comes after two phases of evaluations carried out by professionals who are references in the market. In the first phase, technical-functional, the 575 projects registered passed through the eyes of the judges Adriana Fontana (ABD – Brazilian Association of Interior Design); Ana Paula Coelho (Belas Artes University Center of SP); Eduardo Nuncio (Carraro Furniture); Rodolpho Guttierrez (CBD – Centro Brasil Design) and Sidnei Schenato (Senai – RS).
Of these, 228 were approved and considered finalists , moving on to the second stage of aesthetic-creative evaluation.
In Bento Gonçalves , in Serra Gaúcha, the second jury entered the scene to analyze in person the 189 projects submitted.
This group was formed by Adélia Borges (critic, design historian and independent curator); Cristina Bava ( CASACOR ); Paulo Biacchi (product designer), Thaís Lauton (Casa e Jardim) and Winnie Bastian (curator and content producer).
