Deca Award , Brazil's leading architecture competition, announced the winners in the professional category on November 30. In this 25th edition, young talents and big names in the segment participated with projects for
Best Kitchen Project ,
Best Bathroom Project and
Best Product .

A judging panel made up of architects, engineers and interior designers, design personalities and representatives of entities in the sector elected the best works
considering only the renderings . In this way, it was possible
to expand the possibilities of participation , without the obligation for the projects to be executed, and without leaving aside fundamental criteria, such as originality, creativity and use of space.
Among the professionals, architect
Nildo José was the winner in the
Best Kitchen Project category with the kitchen project for
Casa Olaria NJ + for CASACOR São Paulo 2021. For Best Bathroom Project and Best Product, the most innovative proposals were from the architect from Goiás,
Leo Romano. . For this group, the technology award includes the New 24-inch iMac.
Big names on the national scene, the architects won in other editions of the Deca Award: Leo Romano was awarded in the 2014, 2017 and 2019 editions; and Nildo José won in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019, with his last project being carried out in partnership with Virginia Palma Lopes.
Among the students, announced on November 22,
Eloanna Mangussi , from Campo Grande (MS), and
Caio Coelho, from Santana de Parnaíba (SP), were the big winners of this edition, chosen as Best Kitchen Project and Best Bathroom Project, respectively. For their achievement, each of them receives the career award, which includes a combo of licenses for Sketchup (3 years) and V-Ray 5 (permanent).
In this edition, the finalist professionals were: Andrea Bethge, Bruna Paholski, Cristiana Rodrigues Breyer, Guilherme Reinert, Isadora Zatorre, Kaio Afonso Araújo Vilanova, Leonardo Atemio Zanatta, Lucas Pires de Lemos, Stephanie Marques de Souza and Vinicius Soares Silva.
