On the night of this Wednesday, June 17, the awards ceremony of the 3rd CASACOR Piauí 2026 Award took place. Held annually, the award recognizes the professionals who best used Piauí Craftsmanship, Art, Photography and Design in their projects during the 2026 season, whose central theme is "Mind and Heart", encouraging a production that boosts the multifaceted riches of the state. The event was attended by this year's cast, guests and the press.
The evaluation of the projects was carried out by the jurors Livia Pedreira, President of the curatorial board of CASACOR; journalist Maia Veloso and professor Neuza Melo. The result took into account the criteria previously defined by the technical team, which visited the projects and spoke with the 47 professionals who developed the 32 projects that make up the show.

Present at the ceremony, Neuma Figueirêdo, director of CASACOR Piauí and Ceará, shares that the award is one of the most anticipated and symbolic moments of the event, which throughout its conception seeks to value Piauí. "We are immensely happy and proud of the commitment of the entire cast in accepting this challenge of using in their projects the best the state has to offer in terms of art, craftsmanship and culture. This ceremony is just a gesture of recognition for this dedication and all the professionals are to be congratulated", she expresses.
Cristina Napoleão, director of CASACOR Piauí, endorses that the event format and the defined categories seek to encourage professionals to think about, use and value even more the cultural identity of the state. "Our show is alive in every detail, that's why we manage to reach the day of the award with the feeling of duty fulfilled regarding the appreciation of Piauí. All the professionals created their projects valuing the best Piauí has to offer in craftsmanship, art and culture", she shares.
