CASACOR Ceará 2023 Award celebrates excellence in interior design

On October 23, 2023, CASACOR Ceará celebrated the 25th edition of the CASACOR Ceará Awards , celebrating the excellence and creativity of the region's talented architecture, interior design and landscaping professionals. The event took place in the "Bossa Natural" environment, created by Thiago Borges, and was attended by renowned professionals and local design and architecture enthusiasts.

The jury, composed of Márcia Cavalcante , architect and professor of the Architecture and Urbanism course at UFC, Sílvio Frota , businessman and president of the Photography Museum, and Marcus Braga , designer, visual artist and director of Join, carefully evaluated the 37 environments in the exhibition and announced the winners in several categories.

Ceará Crafts Category:

1st Place - Body and Home of the Sun - Brenda Rolim; 2nd Place - Come Closer - Marçal Barros; 3rd Place - UBUNTU FOR TICIANA ROLIM QUEIROZ - Beatriz Miranda.

Ceará Artist Category:

1st Place - TV Lounge - ANDRÉA DALL'OLIO, CHRIS MACHADO, LARISSA PORTO, SÉRGIO PIRES; 2nd Place - OTEMPO DECA - Lia Sampaio and Erasmo Pereira; 3rd Place - “Vim do Areial” Lounge Room – Tribute to Mr. Manoel Machado and family - Roberto Pamplona Jr.

Ceará Design Category:

1st Place - Dining Room 3 - Ney Filho; 2nd Place - Dynamic Lounge - SEBRAE - Jéssica Guimarães and Sara Carioca; 3rd Place - Design Market - João Dias.

Sustainable Environment Category:

1st Place - Design Market - João Dias; 2nd Place - Dining Room 3 - Ney Filho; 3rd Place - “Vim do Areial” Lounge Room – Tribute to Mr. Manoel Machado and family - Roberto Pamplona Jr.

Public and Commercial Use Category:

1st Place - Dining Room 3 - Ney Filho; 2nd Place - Essence of the Earth - Ceart Store - NAYARA OLIVEIRA AND VERONICA MARTINEZ; 3rd Place - Mayú Restaurant - Denise Bessa and Neide Barbosa.

Landscaping Category:

1st Place - Garden of Encounters - Droysen Tomich and Gerson Munayer; 2nd Place - Natural Refuge - Thiago Borges; 3rd Place - Bossa Natural - Thiago Borges.

Best Environment Category:

1st Place - Living - Rodrigo Maia. 2nd Place - Serendipity Hotel - Ramiro Mendes; 3rd Place - Body and Home of the Sun - Brenda Rolim.

On the occasion, the president of Fecomércio, Luiz Gastão Bittencourt , and the director of CASACOR Ceará, Neuma Figueirêdo , launched the project "Senac Jovens Criadores Design" . This project offers 10 scholarships that will allow talented young people from Ceará to intern on CASACOR projects, working directly in the offices of professionals who will contribute to CASACOR Ceará 2024. This initiative aims to promote professional education and encourage the growth of young talents in the field of design and architecture.

The CASACOR Ceará Awards are a celebration of the creativity and talent of Ceará’s design and architecture community, and CASACOR Ceará will continue to serve as a platform for artistic expression and innovation in interior design, architecture and landscape architecture in the region.
