CASACOR SP 2019: sustainability, affection and technology in 75 projects

Planeta Casa understands the home as the individual's private universe, in which their essence is transcribed throughout the décor. The interpretations of the idea of home as a refuge clash with the subjectivity of each professional, so that the environments express a little of each person's innermost being. Surrounded by expectations, CASACOR Sao Paulo 2019 opened its doors on May 28th to the general public with 75 environments. Once again, the Jockey Club of São Paulo was transformed to welcome the trends and identity of each professional in their projects. During the cocktail party, everyone was able to see up close the lofts, houses, lounges, living rooms, bathrooms, studios, apartments, restaurants, gardens and many other proposals. Check it out!

Espaço Índigo Comgás - Lao Design and Zoom Urbanism, Architecture and Design. Zoom Arquitetura, in partnership with LAO Engenharia, developed the “Espaço Índigo Comgás” - an interactive garden, located at the entrance to the exhibition. The project highlights sustainable solutions, such as the reuse of materials, drainage flooring, a forest of recycled metal ducts and benches made of sustainably produced wood. Highlights include the Rubens Tube, a physical experiment in which fire flames dance to the rhythm of musical sound waves, the Marquise bench - a reference to Oscar Niemeyer and the Bicicletário Mandacaru, a tribute to Lina Bo Bardi and encouraging visitors to make use of of active modes.

Walkway Garden - Mauro Contesini. The 80m2 space was designed as a place to rest, where it is possible to read a good book, relax with family and friends, and even work. The green wall brings the warmth of nature, highlighting the swings. The shelves designed by Mauro Contesini demarcate the space decorated with objects and plants of his choice. The draining floor, LED lighting and the eco-friendly wooden deck reflect the concern for the environment, without leaving aside the elegance of the walkway.

Boulangerie - Patrizia Genovese and Andrea Camasmie. In this edition, CASACOR's most popular bakery breathes a vintage vibe. Designed by architects Patrizia Genovese and Andrea Camasmie, Dona Deôla takes a trip down memory lane, reliving the history of old French boulangeries with retro-chic decor. One of the highlights of the project was the choice of the predominant pink hue in the space, inspired by Pantone Mellow Rose.

Estúdio Trigo - Renato Mendonça. Inspired by the figure of a young and independent chef, the space seeks to convey a sense of welcome and comfort. In contrast to high-tech, the architect debuts by reviving ancestral processes to design the 48m studio, using natural materials such as charred wood, rough gneiss stone and burnt clay on the floor.

Art Square - Roberto Riscala. In his 26th participation in the show, landscaper Roberto Riscala created the Art Square, a 178m² garden with a relaxed landscaping, averse to pruning and symmetry, composed of several predominant plant species from the Brazilian native forest, with a tropical style and full of foliage that brings movement, colors and textures. The floor has a relaxed layout, which matches the artistic coverings and cobogó with a contemporary and bold design.

Estúdio Conexão - Barbara Jalles. In her third participation, the professional is responsible for Estúdio Conexão, a space consisting of a kitchen and living room. In the project, she made the most of wood, using the raw material as flooring and also to frame the walls, features designed to enhance mainly the central part of the space and bring a feeling of refinement and comfort. The choice of tones also made a difference, designed to encourage uncomplicated coexistence and the exchange of experiences.

Casa de Verdade - Marcela Pepe. Designed with an independent, well-traveled woman in mind, who is interested in art and design, it is designed by Marcela Pepe. The Contemporary Woman's Studio is 29m² and marks the designer's first participation in the show. The professional wanted to give the space a cozy feel, exploring textures and using natural materials such as wood, straw, rushes, linen, kilim and leather. All are combined with antique and modern pieces such as lamps and side tables, with a highlight being the red rack, which brings life to the place.

Urban Cabin - Marcio Michaluá. The space is an urban refuge. A hybrid, it brings together references from art, design, architecture and photography. The landscaping, by Renata Tilli, blesses the cabin with a sense of well-being, relaxation and connection. Guest artist Antonio Peticov lends his creativity, bringing to life the hydraulic tiles and the neon sculpture that marks the cabin in a spectrum of rainbow colors.

Module 8.2 - Studio Costa+Azevedo. Following the real estate market trend for increasingly functional spaces, but with comfort, practicality, clean and quality architecture, module 8.2 has a floor plan that can be replicated in any space. The color palette originated the name 8.2., a reference to the color lead and the chemical element, which has 82 as its atomic number in the periodic table, which contrasts with the light wood, making the space sophisticated.

Casa Moysés - Triart Arquitetura. With four entries in the show, for the first time Triart Arquitetura presents a building that highlights architecture with a clean language of straight lines in reference to modernism. Architects André Bacalov, Kika Mattos and Marcela Penteado designed a refuge space where residents could recharge their batteries. To achieve this, they chose light-colored furniture and flooring, contrasting with the black that brings a sophisticated urban style to the project, and worked with natural light, which throughout the day creates a play of shadows creating different scenarios.

Bauhaus 100 Years Lounge - Tufi Mousse. An immersion into the Bauhaus heritage. This is the debut space by Santa Catarina architect Tufi Mousse. The lounge provides visitors with a brief glimpse into the immense legacy produced by the Bauhaus School, a precursor of modernism, and its 100 years of history, which was completed this year. The simplicity in the choice of materials, colors and pure lines mark the space and embody the famous phrase by Bauhaus professor and coordinator Mies Van Der Rohe: “Less is More”. The space features a large panel made of painted ceramic fired at 750°C to vitrify the paint, developed by visual artist Fabrício Silva, who was inspired by the work 'Daddy's Gone Girl' by American Eric Fischl.

Foyer Bienvenue - Lisandro Piloni. The project is the gateway to the other 74 environments in the exhibition. A 12m wide gap and 5m ceiling height shape the entrance to the space that mixes pop art elements with the classic base of boiseries, typical of the 17th and 18th centuries. Further on, a large carpeted hall leads to the staircase with a bright red catwalk, worthy of striking royal scenes. Works of contemporary art, on canvases and sculptures, provide a contrast between the new and the old. Modern furniture creates a large room that serves as a ticket office for the event.

Dragon Tree Garden - Zanardo Landscaping. Newcomer Luciano Zanardo brings the Dragon Tree Garden. The space uses the concept of Xeropaisagismo (plants that require little water and are highly resistant to strong winds and diseases) and highlights Brazilian species. With 100m2, the garden reveals a mix of shapes and tones to stimulate the senses of visitors. Among the many species featured is the Dracaena Draco, popularly known as the “dragon tree”, which gives the space its name. The space also has a water mirror, wooden deck and special lighting to highlight the landscaping.

Cozy House - Olegário de Sá. The feeling of arriving home and not wanting to leave; this is the provocation brought by the Olegário de Sá office. The cozy atmosphere spread over 100m2 uses elements from the rustic universe such as wood and natural stone, combined with the modernity of structured glass, contemporary works of art and pieces designed in steel that complement each other delicately. The façade, preserved by the Historical Heritage, was covered in glass and received a reflecting pool in white marble, giving the whole minimalist architecture. Inside the loft, a double height ceiling covered in oak wood contains glass-framed carpentry screens as dividers.

Pandora Garden - Alalou Landscaping. With innovative solutions based on sustainability, landscaper Felipe Alalou created Pandora Garden. The space was inspired by modernist painter Piet Mondrian. Vertical lines interspersed with horizontal lines, geometric shapes and the use of the color red as focal points are the main features of the project, which, although it uses symmetry as a starting point, aims to be three-dimensional and viewed from different angles. Highlights include the interconnection of vertical Bromeliad towers with horizontal floating boxes, which form true living sculptures that integrate with the space.

Casa Pausa - Michel Safatle. To create the Casa Pausa space, Michel Safatle was inspired by the silent purism of colors and shapes, conceptualized in constructivism with a Zen-Orientalist influence, expressed through a monochromatic palette based on the play of textures and tones from nature, always with black as the base and touches of Beijing red. With many works of art and pieces signed by renowned designers, the project exhibits, for example, the sculpture “The Angel” (1949/2004) by Tarsila do Amaral, as well as a rare seven-page letter, written in 1969 by the medium Chico Xavier to his friend, painter, designer and translator, four days after her death.

Bauhaus Garden - Clariça Lima. Inspired by the Bauhaus centennial, landscaper Clariça Lima created a unique garden that showcases the purity of geometric shapes. Although it is a space for contemplation, the project anticipates a support area for one of the restaurants in the show, Limone. Instead of traditional wooden decks, the professional chose a metal finish, giving it a touch of modernity. A mix of tropical vegetation, unusual species, with different textures and volumes, and designer torches complement the look.

CASACOR Bistro - Habitat Projetos Inteligentes. Newcomers Márcia Buschinelli and Rodrigo Ramos, from Habitat Projetos Inteligentes, are presenting their creation for the Mediterranean restaurant Limone. The space, with a neoclassical style and art deco touches, is marked by duality. The contrast between black and white, with light touches of gold, brings sophistication to the 90m² dining room, which combines modern and classic design, from furniture and objects, in addition to all the technology of materials, such as high-definition polished porcelain tiles.

Living Gourmet - WM Arquitetura. A large and bold space, with a modern and timeless décor to welcome guests with comfort and personality, are the main features of the Living Gourmet project by architects and partners Anete Weber and Rafaella Marques. Built in a listed area, the 95m² space is the result of a clean construction, with solutions that combine practicality and sustainability to include the living room, hall, gourmet area and lounge. The spaces are integrated by a single floor, without unevenness, which gives the place amplitude and sophistication, as well as the plaster ceiling in the color white shark, which creates a light and modern style.

Café com Terraço - Jóia Bergamo. Designed by Ofner, Jóia Bergamo surprises with a welcoming, soft and functional atmosphere in its 250m2 project. Built from one of the listed houses of the Jockey Club of São Paulo, the space brings warmth in earthy tones contrasting with the graffiti. When searching for references for the project, the designer thought about the different styles and personalities, making sure to create ways to welcome those looking for a moment of relaxation.

Casa das Sibipirunas - Otto Felix. Known for his unique and expressive lines, Otto Felix makes his presence felt with a 250m² space that exudes straight lines and harmoniously blends rustic and contemporary elements. Divided into a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen and a suite with a closet, the Casa das Árvores com Terraço encourages a more reflective and disconnected way of living, where the proposal for a simpler life was established as a reference.

Garden of the Senses - Bia Abreu. A space made to stir the feelings and sharpen the senses of visitors. This is the central idea that permeated all of landscape architect Bia Abreu’s choices. The Garden of the Senses transforms into an oasis amidst the stones and concrete. With 116m., the space shows the strength of green in tropical compositions that emerge amid the gray, without leaving aside the design and the surprise caused by points that appear in shades of red, the calming smell of the plants and the comfort of the heat of the torchbearers. Highlight for the 4.5m Ficus Lyrata permeated by a bench with straight lines of original design.

Palm Springs Balcony - Jean de Just. Designed by Jean de Just to be a multipurpose place, the Balcony Palm Springs references the architecture of the American city in the 50s and 60s with touches of Brazilianness. The architect was also inspired by Luis Barragán's projects, from which he brought the features and the Klein blue wall. The landscaping is designed by Marianne Valent Ramos.

Casa Grão by Starbucks at Home - Très Arquitetura. Signing, for the first time, the project of a complete residence in the show, Fernanda Tegacini, Fernanda Morais and Nathalia Mouco, partners at Très Arquitetura, were guided by the concept of the grain, which is defined not only by the birth of coffee, but by the principle of abundant lives, to develop the 100m2 space. Based on the premises of a generation that seeks a more detached, altruistic and humanized life, the architects were also inspired by the lines of the Mies Van Der Rohe pavilion in Barcelona, and created a space in the shape of a glass box, which includes a living room, dining room with a small kitchen, terrace and a master suite.

Three Elements - Bárbara Salles. The contemporary world inspired debutant architect Bárbara Salles to create the 3 Elements space - earth, water and air. With a very bold and creative conceptual bathroom, it promises to take the public to a meditative state, with the aim of activating the conscious and bringing it to the present moment. Upon entering the 25m2 space, the visitor is faced with a playful atmosphere, whose central point is the synesthetic architecture, which stimulates perceptions through various sensations, increasing well-being and contributing to self-knowledge.

Voyeur Bathroom - Unik Arquitetura and Estúdio Aker. The “Voyeur” bathroom has cubicles with transparent glass enclosures. However, when the door is closed, it becomes opaque, providing total privacy. To further stimulate the user, the architects used a trompe l'oeil feature - at the back of the cubicles - with perspective images to create the illusion of continuity.

Cosentino Container House - Marilia Pellegrini. In her sustainable project focused on reusing materials, two containers were joined together to create a 60m² house, which features an integrated living room, kitchen and laundry room, as well as a suite with an incredibly comfortable bathroom. The rooms are decorated in shades of white, with a minimalist feel and pieces by great designers, such as Oki Sato, which bring surprising sophistication to the space. The container house also has a 100m² outdoor area with White Lava Granite flooring, a self-irrigating hydroponic garden and an unmistakable bamboo garden.

Lite - Duda Porto. The idea behind this space is to present the perfect balance in the 190m² house, built in just 40 days. With a restless mind that seeks new solutions, Duda states that the Lite system, which gives its name to the space, brings the concept of modular homes updated with the new way of living. The house can be dismantled and can be easily transported to other plots of land, if the family so wishes.

Mobili Loft - InTown Arquitetura. Mobility was the main starting point for Mobili Loft, a space created by architects Hugo Schwartz and Alexandre Gedeon, from InTown Arquitetura. The Loft's main trend is the viable solutions of habitable modules and their diverse possibilities for adaptation and versatility. The architecture is innovative and itinerant, as the fast and intelligent construction system allows its metal structure to be transported semi-finished to be reassembled anywhere within a period of three to four months, depending on the chosen interior finish. With sustainable architecture in vogue, the use of cobogós allows for natural ventilation and skylights allow for the entry of light. The entire roof of the space is flat and received a blanket that reflects 95% of the sunlight and reduces the thermal sensation inside.

Plural Studio - Fernando Piva. Plural Studio is the result of work based on the experience and expertise of professional Fernando Piva over a 27-year career. In 89m², the architect designed a democratic space, focused on new ways of living, prioritizing well-being, practicality in everyday life and the use of materials that bring a sense of refuge, so necessary for the contemporary routine. Since it is a space that can be used by any type of occupant, it has the plurality to meet the needs of a diverse audience, who demand practicality in their daily lives and do not give up luxury.

Linie Lounge - Patrícia Hagobian. Linie Lounge emerges on a refined journey through time. Looking to the future and consecrating the past, the search is for an increasingly connected society, where the home is a space for welcoming and being with loved ones. Coral Hotel - Pedro Lázaro The Coral Hotel concept is similar to smart design hotels that around the world offer specific and innovative experiences for people who see their own lifestyle in this content. It opens with a lobby and then a master suite. An intervention of bird sculptures on the façade of the historic Jockey building signals and positions the brand within the event. The lobby, with design and objects from Brazilian culture, is an invitation to stay and interact.

Fetish Loft - Ricardo Abreu. The 80 m2 space is a reference to the old “garçonnières”, or small apartments used for romantic encounters. Since the idea in such an environment is for visitors to disconnect from external reality, the architect sought to combine different architectural languages, with many aerial elements, such as pilotis and neoclassical ceiling. The result is an atmosphere of fantasy and sensations, reinforced by indirect lighting and playful touches, such as the ball pit.

Casa Conecta - Ticiane Lima. Architect Ticiane Lima makes her debut at the show with the Casa Conecta space, a 125m2 space divided into a living room, bathroom and terrace. Inspired by clean, modern architecture, it is surrounded by large glass doors and features a palette of light colors and different tones of wood, creating a calm and cozy atmosphere. A niche bookcase, created by the professional, frames a workstation consisting of a desk and the Lucio chair, by Sérgio Rodrigues. The exterior of the project, created by Flávio Abílio, received special landscaping, a pink granite bench, 6m long and a hammock installed at ceiling height.

Hall Senhora das Águas - Weiss Arquitetura. Inspired by Brazilian rivers and their folkloric protector Iara, the duo Tide Junqueira and Bárbara Garcia, from the Weiss Arquitetura office, debut with the space “Hall Senhora das Águas”. Measuring 25m, the project is based on sustainable development and the appreciation of the characteristics of the listed building. The highlight is the mermaid sculptures, which gave an extremely striking and elegant touch, works by visual artist Daniel Paschoalim.

Magic Walls - Leo Romano. Designed to allow visitors to immerse themselves in a playful universe, the space created by Leo Romano has a slightly dark atmosphere, with spot lighting to highlight specific objects and corners. Among the decorative elements of Magic Walls are photographs of cinematic and circus scenes, superimposed by ceramic pieces that imitate arms and legs, expanding the characteristics of an imaginary world.

Saleta Pausa - Ana Sawaia. In her first participation in the exhibition, architect Ana Sawaia presents a space designed to reclaim the pleasure and need to stop and take a deep breath. And it was in her personal experience that the professional sought inspiration to create one of the most interesting points of the space: an illuminated arch covered with hydraulic tiles printed with musical symbols and related to time. Ana, who is the daughter of composer Almeida Prado, also presents a panel of watercolors painted by her father on lined sheet music paper.

WC Linha - Trad Dalberto Arquitetura. Architects Vanessa Trad and Nathalia Dalberto are present with the WC Linha project. With the aim of transforming a cold and impersonal environment into something welcoming and affectionate, the professionals chose three key colors for the project: Crown Jewel, Persian Water and Oriental Coral, shades that reference the bottom of the sea and also the feeling of belonging. The project also features the artistic intervention of designer Mari Dabbur.

Jockey Bar - Eduardo Franco Correia. Architect Eduardo Correia has a bar in the grandstand, with a view not only of the Jockey racetrack, but also of a part of the city that is cut through by the Pinheiros River. The space has an internal shape that refers to a rectified river and around it a carpet made of natural fiber representing the devastated banks. A handcrafted wooden panel hosts the series by photographer Denilson Machado, who re-signifies abandoned places with colorful balloons. Engravings by Oswald Goeldi made for the book Mar Morto, by Jorge Amado, show the figure of the fisherman in contact with nature and encourage analysis of the relationship between urban centers and the environment.

Loft Refúgio - Consuelo Jorge. A unique project, where comfort and nature meet and well-being aligns with design, providing unique sensations in an elegant and welcoming space. Casa Berilo Leroy Merlin - Studio ro+ca. The name was chosen after the stone Beryl, which symbolizes creativity and new beginnings. In addition, it is a mineral that has many derivatives, among them the most precious: emerald. The inspiration went even further, with the intense green that bears the name of emerald as the predominant color in the space, showing that it is possible to create a cool and sophisticated environment with common materials from a home center.

Les Hérons - Gustavo Martins Arquitetura. Inspired by the art deco style that marked the iconic lobbies of luxury hotels in the early 20th century, architect Gustavo Martins is responsible for the space that is reminiscent of an apartment hall. With a focus on sustainability, the architect chose a surface for the floor that is the result of the reuse of materials, formed by particles of inputs such as clay and construction waste that are crushed or sifted, transformed into a uniquely designed covering.

Collector's Living Room - Naomi Abe. A passion for art, design and architecture inspired the “Collector's Living Room”, an entrance space in the shape of a minimalist and monochromatic cube made of green hydraulic tiles. Works by Niura Bellavinha, Flavio Cerqueira and Marcia Pastore are displayed throughout the space. On the ceiling, Naomi designed a circular illuminated path connecting the entrance and the living room, inspired by the modernist architecture of the 1950s. Other works that deserve to be highlighted are the painting Mulata by Di Cavalcanti, the contemporary neon art of the Spanish artist Ivan Navarro and a sculpture by Tunga.

Family Home Office - Fernanda Moreira Lima. Lightness and welcoming are the words that define the architect's work in her first participation in the show. Casa Dendê Duratex - Nildo José. The 115m² space offers fluid and minimalist environments, including a living room, kitchen with dining room, patio and master suite, avoiding ready-made formulas and the stereotype of a colorful Bahia. However, it expresses in every detail the architect's special connection with his homeland in a sober way, rich in art, style and poetry. Seeking to convey an elegant and at the same time rustic essence, the professional opted for a clean architecture, abundant in straight lines, with specific curves that make an analogy to the Bahian Recôncavo.

Co_Dining - Juliana Pippi. Inspired by the verbs to meet and to welcome, the idea behind this space is to be a place to be together, savor flavors, conversations, stories and one's own presence. In the 45m² space, the We Share table occupies the central position and is the connecting element and guiding thread of the project. The piece, designed by the architect, has a handcrafted granite top and a central gutter that combines Corian and stainless steel. The welcoming effect is enhanced by the play of textures present in the space.

Cucina Pietra - Felipe Hess. In his debut at CASACOR, the professional bets on minimalism, combined with technology and precision in the furniture present in the space. With stone cladding, the cabinets blend in with the walls, creating an absolutely sophisticated and timeless space.

Private Room - Paulo Azevedo. A room full of references, colors, textures and history. In his project, the architect represents the sensations, moments, feelings and identity of a mature woman in her 40s, passionate about fashion, photography, art and design. The atmosphere of the room has a 70s and 80s feel, which perfectly complements the classic base.

Blush Suite - Bruno Carvalho. Comfort, sustainability, sophistication and a mix of contemporary and art deco styles define the Blush Suite. With 53m2, the space has a timeless architectural atmosphere. Harmonized with the characteristics of classic and rustic styles, it has an entrance that allows a wide view of the entire project, consisting of the main room, the bedroom, an imposing closet and the living room. Following the trend of bringing functionality and elegance, the interior designer designed the suite in sober tones with nuances that transition between beige, gray and rosé, prioritizing a composition made with furniture, decorative ornaments, fabrics and coverings in an acronym style.

Children's Suite - Messa Penna. The children's bedroom project was created with the premise of inspiring imagination, art, reading and also manual work with the reuse of materials. Sustainability combined with creativity resulted in installations that make up the environment. Pieces made from recycled plastic bags, for example, become works of art. The beds and the rug were created with macramé from nautical ropes, which can be reused in the future, as well as the swing made by hand from the same material.

Espaço Ser - Studio Alex Bonilha. Espaço Ser invites visitors to look inward and reflect. Right at the entrance, a black MDF element runs along the entire left side, dividing a large hall where the low ceiling and its large extension aim to give visitors a sense of introspection. Books found in second-hand bookstores in São Paulo seek to reinforce affective memory, an element capable of reconnecting human beings with their essence, dialoguing with the proposal of the space.

Tree of Life Loft - Marcelo Salum. Inspired by the film “The Tree of Life”, directed by Terrence Malick, the architect sought references in the drama to bring his 107m² loft to life. The search for essence, early learning and the importance of family were the starting points for designing the loft, all reminiscent of the concept of creation. In the entrance hall, visitors come across a tree created especially for the space by visual artist Alexandre Mattos. The color chosen by the professional to work on the space as a whole was yellow, creating an allusion to the sun, since light is essential for the growth of his tree.

Hygge Studio - Melina Romano. With the aim of transforming the living environment into a welcoming, sensorial and visually pleasing place, Melina Romano brought the Danish concept of “riuga” to the 68m² studio, which preaches well-being, comfort and proximity. With modular and mutant elements, where it is possible to create a completely different distribution of space, the architect bet on the rounded and organic shapes of the furniture that break any visual rigidity.

Being Light - Paula Magnani. The architect creates a refuge dedicated to reading and enjoying moments of calm. Inspired by a middle-aged couple who want to experience moments away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the 40m² space was created in neutral tones, such as earthy tones and antique pink, which inspire tranquility and bring refinement and comfort. The professional also sought to play with textures: walls covered in porcelain tiles that imitate the curves of rocks, wood with unique grains and design pieces with materials such as straw and different fabrics cover the furniture in the space.

Elementary Garden - Kalil Ferre Landscaping. The Elementary Garden is based on the interaction between man and nature. For this project, which is responsible for the integration of three areas of the exhibition, natural elements are decisive: stone, fire, wood and vegetation are the stars. Organic lines also appear in a playful space, created with three scales designed by renowned Brazilian designer Sérgio Matos.

Casa Oak | 02 - Moacir Schmitt Jr. and Sálvio Moraes Jr. To present a contemporary and symbolic view of living, the duo from the renowned Studio CASAdesign presents CASA OAK|02, a complete 185m2 residence that promises to awaken in each visitor the desire to live in the space. Designed to bring the public a latent feeling of welcome and well-being, the construction has a large living room, integrated kitchen and dining room, a suite and a bucolic outdoor garden, designed by Kalil Ferre, which reinforces the atmosphere of refuge, belonging, and the impression of being entirely in a home.

Aurora Terrace - BC Arquitetura. Inspired by the contemporary and minimalist poetics that guide the new home, the duo Bruno Carvalho and Camila Avelar created the 130m² space that follows a delicate narrative. Defined as a sensorial experience, the project exudes signature design, as well as artistic interventions and an incredible 7m ceiling height. It was designed so that guests can breathe, sigh and reconnect through the elements present there.

Deca Lab - Ricardo Bello Dias. Shaped like a spaceship, Ricardo Bello Dias presents a futuristic laboratory where research is the core of design innovation, a place that allows man to explore the universe without borders. Deca Lab is 8 meters in diameter and is made of a metal structure in copper and black colors. The spaceship is supported on a reflecting pool, and a walkway crosses the installation, providing access from both sides of the space.

VarandAR - Planting Ideas. Architects and designers Luciana Pitombo and Felipe Stracci are responsible for an occupation of 190m², an open-air balcony, highlighting the Air element. In the environment, it will be possible to identify native species in beds and pots, such as bromeliads, bamboos and some types of xerophiles.

Lounge dos Aromas - Sharon Fliter. The commercial space offers a proposal that combines sustainability, technology and affection. Inspired by a “Lounge Store”, the 40m2 space was designed to highlight the store’s products and provide more comfort. The professional restructured the space with drywall walls and panels. The plaster ceiling with linear moldings receives LED lighting, which provides diffuse indirect light, while directional spotlights on industrial rails were strategically placed to highlight the brand’s products, displayed on thin metal shelves, installed on solid wood sheets. The décor includes a 100% ecological vegetation garden.

Glasses Gallery - Daniela Colnaghi. The space offers a multifunctional and flexible furniture arrangement. The store stands out for its exclusive carpentry created for the project and for its creative solutions for displaying the products sold. A large organic and parametric structure runs from the wall to the ceiling, which has acoustic properties. Works of art and decorative objects complement the space, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Architect's Shed - Mauricio Queiroz. The Architect's Shed is a 100m² commercial space designed to encourage interaction between visitors to the show. Cozy and inviting, it has a wine bar, sofas, armchairs and a fireplace overlooking a forest. Created in a demountable structure, it is 100% reusable and can be reused after the event.

CASACOR Store, by Armazém do Marton - Marton Estúdio. Designed with a system for assembling and disassembling structural components and finishes, the CASACOR Store was remodeled using the existing MCL (glued laminated timber) structures from the 2018 project, changing the interior and exterior finishes. The goal was to make the most of all raw materials while maintaining the event's sustainability premise. All energy will be supplied by photovoltaic panels and LED lighting. Other techniques applied in the architecture completely eliminate the use of air conditioning, promoting savings in electricity and gas emissions.

"O Tempo" Garden - Mônica Costa. With an area of 200m², Jardim do Tempo was designed to decorate the “Bar do Relógio”, by architect Marcelo Diniz. Inspired by a trip to Paris, the shaped plants resemble a window display from a famous French store. The revival of topiary - the art of decorating gardens - is remarkable. Furniture scattered around an outdoor fireplace brings the ultimate modern vibe. Sculptures, vases and corten steel enrich the production with culture, art and sustainability.

Chefs' Garden - Catê Poli and João Jadão. Exploring the five senses and people's interaction with nature, the professionals present a 250m2 space that contemplates beauty and focuses on the experience of greenery to create a functional and sustainable garden. With a complete composition of foliage and tropical species, as well as a selection of fruit trees, edible flowers and spices, the project also pays homage to two important names in Brazilian gastronomy: the couple Janaína and Jefferson Rueda.

Bar do Relógio - Marcelo Diniz. A historical heritage site in the city of São Paulo, the building that houses the Jockey Club clock is transformed into a 270m bar, divided into three areas. Its design was based on the original structure, respecting the historical value of the listed architectural project. Right at the entrance, the façade is marked by large tile panels created by the professional especially for the exhibition. Inside, Venetian rose was the color chosen for both the walls and the ceiling. The layout is organized symmetrically with two curved sofas in cotton velvet, rosewood tables and ebony and straw chairs in a circular arrangement, with lighting by silk shantung pendants.

House of the Faun - Leo Shehtman. A house designed for a childless couple who love to celebrate life and art. Measuring 144m2, it was fully integrated and pays homage to the Barberini Faun, a figure from Roman mythology (an appropriation of the Greek version of the Satyr). Upon entering the space, visitors are greeted by the exotic Pearlescent Marble that covers one wall and appears to float along the 18m of water mirror. Modernist works, such as the Barcelona Pavilion designed by architect Mies van der Rohe in 1929, also served as inspiration for this project - a way of paying homage to the centenary of the Bauhaus school.

Nohara Terrace - Lucas Takaoka. The 20m2 project features an open layout divided into shower cubicles (unisex and disabled), wash basins and a small lounge that move in perfect harmony. The coziness comes into play through the closed pergola, made with a pine wood structure. To contribute to the lighting of the space, the walls and bathroom doors were given a light tone. For the countertop, the architect worked with a composition that mixes wood with a natural finish and white lacquer.

Dolce Villa Todeschini - Débora Aguiar. The 480m² house has a contemporary and clean style, proposing a sophisticated and elegant urban retreat surrounded by nature. A large panel with metal louvers in recycled aluminum forms the façade, allowing more natural light to enter the rooms. From a central axis, the house is divided into a private and social area, the latter completely facing a central garden with large glass doors that create an indoor-outdoor connection. The entrance hall displays a sculpture by the Swiss artist Not Vital and opens the way to the rest of the project, which features lots of greenery with its gardens and flowerbeds, natural stones and cozy environments.

Atelier de Morar - Denise Barretto. Highlighting the connection with art, the 130m² space flows through a spatial mosaic of wood textures. On the walls, the material appears in its natural form and on the floor in light oak. Arena CASACOR - Tania and Fabiano Hayazaki. Designed to host events, Arena CASACOR is divided into five areas: hall, living room, auditorium, social room and a delightful tropical garden. Visitors will find several great design solutions and pieces that value craftsmanship, with the lifestyle that made Hayasaki Arquitetura famous. Automation is a show in itself in the space and represents the technology that is very present in the professionals' work.

CASACOR Garden - Marcelo Bellotto. Strategically located in front of the restaurant's Waste Treatment Plant, the idea is to use the waste as fertilizer in the CASACOR Garden, illustrating a path to sustainability for visitors. The public will have the opportunity to see a stylized garden that will house several types of species - such as teas, medicinal plants, fruit trees, vegetables, aromatic herbs, aphrodisiac plants and pancs. In the center of the space, there is an unusual itinerant hanging garden, which can be easily dismantled and transported to different locations.

Casa Sumê | LG Connected Space - Gustavo Neves. Redefining the use of materials and highlighting the traditions, customs and memories of ancient peoples, Gustavo Neves brings Casa Sumè in partnership with LG, a connected space that exalts true sustainability in all its pillars: social, economic and environmental. Highlighting the ecological Straw Bale construction method, commonly used in natural constructions, which uses straw bales as a sealing element, given the renewable nature of the material.

Kariri Garden - Daniel Nunes. Through the application of simple elements and vernacular techniques of reusing materials from the civil construction itself that would otherwise be discarded, the garden was designed to represent all the richness of the caatinga biome. The landscaper sought to translate a bit of this atmosphere into a contemporary universe, showing that beauty is not only present in established aesthetic standards. It is in diversity and in the keen eye of those who allow themselves to be touched by it.

In the more than 10 homes presented in the exhibition, comfort and coziness are the watchwords. The decor evokes an emotional memory, so that the spaces are capable of recalling a childhood that has ended with an inviting layout for meetings, dinners and gatherings. Affection and memory are pillars of the 2019 edition of the exhibition, along with technology. Thus, ecological awareness is always present in the planning and management of spaces, which find the best way to live sustainably.

“Something is happening in my heart” Loft - Marcelo Salum. In this 60 m² loft, the São Paulo landscape is suggested on the walls, which alternate between gray and green. Elements that refer to nature are popular in these spaces, which use country homes as inspiration to disconnect from internal reality and plan moments of introspection.
