Pedro Ariel presents the theme "Planting Dreams" for the cast in São Paulo
This Tuesday (18th), the CASACOR São Paulo hosted the cast of the 2025 edition for an exclusive lecture led by Pedro Ariel, the director of relationships and content of the exhibition. The meeting aimed to deepen the understanding of the theme for the 2025 edition: "Planting Dreams". The new theme of CASACOR is structured around three main pillars: collective dreams, ecosystems in cooperation, and convergence of knowledge. The first concept invites professionals to reflect on the importance of dreaming collectively and building a more harmonious and collaborative future. The second pillar emphasizes the need to integrate urban projects and the natural, encouraging the creation of cities that function as living ecosystems, inspired by the workings of forests. Finally, the convergence of knowledge proposes a transdisciplinary approach, connecting areas such as architecture, engineering, biology, and social sciences to develop innovative and sustainable solutions. During the presentation, Pedro Ariel explored new angles of one of the pillars of the theme, offering the cast of CASACOR São Paulo 2025 an inspiring vision of how the exhibition can contribute to a more balanced and conscious future. "The idea is that we can build spaces that dialogue with the collective and with the projects, promoting new ways of living and interacting with the world," he emphasized. He also highlighted that "Planting Dreams" is a optimistic vision for the problems we face today in the world, particularly the climate issues. "We must, starting today, get used to living in this era of climate transformations. And humanity needs to adapt to this issue, and architecture must bring answers," he stated. The audience present at the lecture immersed themselves in the proposal of the edition, which invites architects, designers, and landscapers to reflect on bioarchitecture, well-being, and the urgency of aligning sustainable projects with contemporary climate demands. The expectation is that these reflections will result in innovative and inspiring spaces capable of translating the essence of "Planting Dreams" in the 2025 edition.
