Patricia Urquiola signs the revitalization of Cassina's headquarters

To celebrate its 90th anniversary, Cassina opened its renovated headquarters in October. Located in the Italian city of Meda, the traditional furniture brand worked with Spanish architect Patricia Urquiola to design the renovation project.

Thus, the structures were modernized, but not replaced. Some areas were given a new purpose, such as the central courtyard, which began to function as a welcoming place for visitors and a place for employees to socialize. “I believe that the key word in this historical and cultural time is, above all, consistency”, explained the architect.
