Pedro Ariel's lecture inspires CASACOR SC professionals

On the 6th, CASACOR Santa Catarina brought together the cast and guests of the show in Florianópolis for a night of reflection on the theme, " As a gift, the now ", with the aim of directing the creations that will be presented at the show.

The debate was led by journalist and architect Pedro Ariel Santana , director of relations and curator of the exhibition. In addition, to discuss environments that move and leave a lasting impression, architect Juliana Pippi , a veteran of several editions in Santa Catarina and São Paulo, spoke about her creative processes and the references used in previous editions.

"The future is ancestral": with this phrase, Pedro Ariel opened his lecture on the theme "From the present, the now" , which took more than six months of research to be prepared by the CASACOR curatorial team. Ancestry is approached as a source of life, wisdom, identity, belonging, creativity and a link between past, present and future — forming a web of actions that connects humanity.

Francis and Luiz Bernardo, the directors of CASACOR SC, shared their conclusions on the topic: "It is an invitation to reflect on today's world. The moment has never been so important and opportune for this reflection and action, on what is happening in the world and our responsibility for the future. So, we will have environments that will give us much more than functional and aesthetic versions, they will provoke us to think and feel in the moment of now." CASACOR SC | Florianópolis will take place from September 29th to November 24th , at the new D/Season development by Dimas Construtora — former Maria do Mar hotel.
