Last week,
CASACOR Paraná kicked off its 2023 edition with a
speech by
CASACOR 's Content Director, architect and journalist
Pedro Ariel Santana , who mapped out the macro trends in behavior that impact contemporary lifestyles. Under the theme “
Body & Home ”, the research carried out by CASACOR's curatorial team, composed of Santana,
Lívia Pedreira and
Cristina Ferraz , was discussed. They believe that attention, affection and care should permeate our relationships with the body, mind, others, home, consumption, the city and the planet.
The research also understands that, indisputably, the world we believed we lived in no longer exists, the scenario of uncertainty persists and in it are mixed remnants of the pandemic, a new war, crises in strong economies and the feeling that the time to act on climate change has run out.
The perception that the world has become sick due to lack of care is growing . To set the tone for this theme, Pedro Ariel mentioned the
2023 Manifesto – a summary of the aforementioned trend research. “In addition to the observation of a world in turmoil, we propose a new
cartography of affection , based on ancestry, tolerance, diversity and empathy. After all, weaving our tomorrow requires the persistence of a gardener, whose garden overflows, and by far, the flowerbed at home”.

Regarding the
29th edition of the show in Curitiba, the director of CASACOR Paraná,
Marina Nessi , announced the dates of the event, scheduled to take place between
June 4th and July 23rd, 2023. The stage will be the emblematic
AQUA building , an iconic space that has already successfully hosted the 2021 and 2022 editions. "The public's receptiveness, the strategic location and the success story of these previous editions were essential factors in deciding to stay at this location. It is in this space that we are proposing
a new challenge to the cast of professionals and sponsoring brands , which have been fundamental in the growth of our brand and our show, in addition to promoting the maturation of the market", she explains.
