With daily rates starting at R$10,000, the hotel has 14 rooms and suites located in three historic buildings dating back to 1681 and restored by architect and interior designer Christophe Tollemer.
The hotel's restaurant, run by celebrity chef Alain Ducasse , offers a menu inspired by Louis XIV , who ruled France for 72 years, as well as classic French dishes and an afternoon tea dedicated to another famous resident of the palace, Queen Marie Antoinette .

Each of the rooms and suites is individually decorated and named after a person closely linked to the property , such as statesman Jacques Necker, who was Louis XVI's financial director, and his daughter, the novelist Madame de Stael.
