Everyone has read something by Clarice Lispector at some point in their lives. And if they haven't, they certainly will. Despite being born in Ukraine, Clarice became a naturalized Brazilian citizen, having migrated to the country when she was still a child. Writer, columnist and journalist, Clarice She became well-known for her stories, novels, essays and books, which largely told love stories, feminist tales and approaches to being and language itself. No one knew how to talk about the word with words like Clarice.
Today, December 10, the renowned writer would have turned 98 years old. Clarice was born in 1920, in Chechelnyk, Ukraine, baptized as Chaya Pinkhasovna Lispector (in Russian Хая Пинхасовна Лиспектор), in the midst of a family escape from country, due to the anti-Semitism resulting from the Russian Civil War (1918-1920). The little girl and her family arrived in Maceió in 1922, where they lived for a few more years.

doodle , which was created by Clarice's granddaughter, Mariana Valente. "I digitized some images and textures and had the idea of showing her leaving Ukraine with her family and arriving in Brazil. , starting to work as a journalist, and then moving on to his own writing work”, he said.
