In Fernando Thunm's project, the Garden Room, the pool was the starting point with a sinuous line that divides the shallow part from the deeper part and also the deck floor painted in dark tones. A 40m2 pergola with breezes and pivoting doors houses the lounge space with sofas, armchairs and an imposing fireplace supplied with natural gas and operated by remote control. Sun loungers and overflowing edges of the pool are an invitation to relax, admiring the rich vegetation and atmosphere created by the professional.

Another highlight this year is the Talks Bambu space, created by architects Acalente de Mello and Gabriela Ordahy. The space is made up of two areas, one indoors and one outdoors. The outdoor area features lush, preserved nature. The duo's proposal is to offer an environment for relaxation and contemplation. Cement, comfortable armchairs and wood give the proposal a modern touch.

Among the highlights of the landscaping of the exhibition is the work of the Arqmove Arquitetura e Paisagismo office, led by architect Katiane Pinheiro, which presents the Jardim Terra Viva, with an area of over 1000 m². The project aims to unify the exhibition, which this year is divided into six floors, divided on both sides of the street, in a conceptual and dynamic way, connecting the external areas to the private gardens of each house. Pure materials and different species of vegetation were chosen, making use of fundamental elements that permeate the CASA VIVA concept, creating unity and symmetry between the eight gardens and the public promenade of the exhibition.

Fig Tree Courtyard
07/07 -

A residential area for socializing in the open air is the proposal of the Pátio da Figueira space, designed by architect Karina Ritter. The focus is on the century-old fig tree that makes up the contemporary project with the use of landscaping in the form of a vertical garden. Works of art, furniture design and exotic stones also bring history to the space created for relaxing and entertaining.
