The Moulin Rouge , located in the heart of Paris' Montmartre neighborhood, is opening an Airbnb stay for a secluded room in its iconic red windmill, specially designed to transport guests back in time , specifically to the late 19th century. To welcome guests, the place was transformed into a luxurious room , inspired by the Belle Époque , the famous cabaret era. In addition to sleeping in the iconic windmill, those who book the space will also be able to go behind the scenes at the theater , enjoy a traditional three-course French meal and have the best seats during the acclaimed Féerie show

To recreate the decorative details and style of the period, Airbnb worked with renowned French historian and 19th-century expert Jean-Claude Yon , renovating the mill to look exactly as it did.
