Architecture, design, landscaping, art and – why not? – fashion! After all,
CASACOR Rio has been translating the Carioca way of living for over 30 years; it’s only natural that designer
Lenny Niemeyer , who interprets the Carioca way of living like few others, dress, chose the
Brando Barbosa Residence to photograph the
editorial of their next collection . And isn't it true that the models
matched perfectly with our environments and works of art present in some of them?
During the photo shoot, taken on a Monday, the day when CASACOR Rio is not open to the public, model
Shirley Pitta paraded the
looks created by Lenny in our garden, by the pool-installation by
Maritza Caneca , and in very contemporary environments. such as the “
Poet’s Corner ”, by
Sérgio Conde Caldas and
Patricia Andrade ;
Pavilion 22 , by
Mario Costa Santos ;
Between Rooms , by
Celso Rayol and
Fernando Costa ; and
Time Room , by
Dado Castello Branco .
And the model wasn't alone: in addition to the editorial, the brand also produced a
mini-doc about the house and living, which featured the managing partners of the Rio de Janeiro exhibition,
Patricia Mayer and
Patricia Quentel , art curator
Vanda Klabin and artist plastic surgeon
Maritza Caneca – all dressed as Lenny –, as well as the stylist Lenny Niemeyer herself, who spoke about how the Brando Barbosa Residence inspires her work.
"In addition to being beautiful, the Brando Barbosa Residence has all the vegetation and an ambiance that
reminds me of the way I would like to live and that is very inspiring for me when I create the collection," says the designer.
CASACOR Rio opens from Tuesday to Sunday until
June 26 at Residência Brando Barbosa, in Jardim Botânico. There are
45 spaces decorated by
43 teams of professionals including architects, interior designers and landscapers. Just like last year, the show is hybrid, with a face-to-face version and a digital version, with
3D tours available on the website!
